Joel, are you in for the Reddit giveaway? Looks like 997 people aren't interested in helping out (if you're in a different timezone and haven't seen this yet, forgive me).
I've also been thinking about that and I think to start with I'll do a random draw using http://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/random/pickone.html where the first 100 responders get entered and can "win" varying amounts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th with the rest of a 2500 c2 part pot between the other 95 responders. What do you think?

Member Rraider has very generously donated the ENTIRE 10k c2 fund for the Reddit giveaway! I'm still going to donate 1k and I'd like your 1k pledge too, Pagona. Pls send to SG7P4knVPGytvZB24JBjMniLQcsZeBhAGR. If anyone else wants to donate, feel free and I'll continue the giveaway for longer.

Pledged 1234

Rec'd with thanks! Very kind.

Member Pagona has also kindly donated 1k to the giveaway fund. Joel, do you want to make it up to 15k? Pls?!
Again, where are the rest of the tight f***ers who were given, yes GIVEN, 48k c2? Make this happen by spreading it around a bit. Donate here or trade some of your coins for 750 sat's to get them out there.

Anyone else? The ONLY way this coin can gain momentum is if everyone puts in a couple of quid! I know there are some of the original 1000 who advocate holding but this can never work if it's in the hands of a few. C2 has incredibly good TX times, even with a small network and it can be a good medium of transfer. Only problem is, no-one wants to transfer just yet. /rant

Yeah, you have to get +15 activity before it lets you post without restriction. Just be patient and edit your post slightly before trying again otherwise it'll tell you you've already posted the message when you haven't.

I've just had an idea! I'm going to print a load of paper wallets with small amounts of c2 loaded on them, laminate them, then "lose" them...In the high street, around the estates, in shops etc. Anyone else in? If some blogger picks up on all these free wallets floating around, we might get a mention.

No, you sell them on eBay at slightly above market value. Simply give away like a flyer wouldn't work especially C2 only have 50mil coins around.
tHOSE WHO BOUGHT IT WILL APPRECIATE IT'S VALUE MORE. It's totaly legit sell in eBay in paper Wallet form. It consider novelty and eligible as prove of delivered and harder being scam by buyers.

By the way, any Give Away 10 or more of C2 strategy  will only depress C2 more. Small amount will most likely reach more people who is seriously into the coin and want more and the donation from community last longer.  Once it matured, in a couple month near future, it will pop like BTCS current example. Patience, Patience. and Patience. Don't not let you emotion clouded your judgement.

I don't quite agree dude. The whole point of the coin was free distribution. selling it of when it's been collected for a giveaway seems a bit petty. no offence

Well, Depends...use the cash flow generated from sellig the paper wallet in eBay to buy some more coins in exchange then feed it into printed Paper wallet.... supply of coins almost never end easily.

42coin fever is a big supporter.....and he does know what he is talking about....lets calm down in here.....i am sending the 20k coins now, however, this will be my last giveaway, i think that your post on reddit is building some attention and I think it will reach a new segment of the market.  I am glad your taking initiative, minesuch, but 42coin fever is right.  Giveaways are great for building attention but not value.  No value comes from more people having them after we saturate reddit.  It was the only part of the social media market that was slow.  I think after this giveaway is done, we just need patience and hopefully my team and I will be closer to be being completed with some exciting projects.  Smiley  NO FIGHTING HERE PLEASE!  LOL Smiley

Who's fighting here? I'm becoming concerned, as I said to the fanboys on nxt-e trollbox, that coin2 is starting to sound like an exclusive club. Everyone has a little secret that they know but can't share because the dev told them in confidence. This community should welcome new members, not scare them into thinking that the market is controlled by a select few.
Coin2 will set it's own value once people have it and can trade it for tangible items, whether that be GPU's, pot, fiat or game credits.
