I think that a multipool is important but what good will it be if it doesn't get a lot of hash, I think a wider user base and even more innovative features like the FPS should come first, maybe a small amount should be used for more distribution (giveaways).  That will probably result in more people backing Coin2, more volume on exchanges and more people using the multipool.   There is a big influx of POS coins now and I imagine a few will start to get multipools pretty soon.

regarding multipool, its already in the talk with my fellow boardmembers regarding this, thanks for the suggestion, Joel have a better plan than a common multipool we see around, this one will have something different in it.

Thanks guys.

he is talking about Poloniex ...
They are using NC2 for Coin2.0

NC2 might be confusing for some users.

C2.0, C2 is understandable

if you want to vote for the fate of unclaimed old COIN2
I have prepared a little questionaraire that might help Joel
decide what to do with them and it would be a community decision

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6G69QKL

we have about 15 voted so far
https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-SW3QMCC/

VOTES FOR MINTPAL QUOTATION

The first results of the poll indicate that the quotation on Mintpal is supported by a large part of the community. It is thus possible to use a part of Coin2 surplus to finance this operation.

The favorable people think that Mintpal would be beneficial for Coin2 popularity and value.

The financing of the votes such as it is already practised is also positive because it can bring new adopters with a low advertising cost.

I thought about all this today and I have the pleasure to make you the following proposal:

1. Increase the votes remuneration from 5 to 10, 20 or 25 C2 for 5 votes each week from Tuesday till Friday
2. Introduce a remuneration for 50 or 100 Coin2 for 5 votes from Saturday till Monday (the winner is appointed on Mondays evenings UTC)
3. Publish the information on the Facebook page, on the the web site, etc.
4. Share and invite your friends to get some C2

I am ready to support the operation with a donation of 5000 Coin2 for people recording their votes on Coinzen.

Who is paying the votes? Is it the Dev team ? Could I have  C2 address for the payment of my contribution ?

Your comments are welcome.

For people wishing to vote and to get some free Coin2:

https://www.mintpal.com/voting (you need an account and a registred trade to vote)
http://coinzen.org/index.php/topic,605.0.html (please register to post your votes and get your free Coin2)

I also invite you to participate in the poll for C2 surplus affectation (links at the top of this post).

P.S. Sorry for my poor English of swiss guy

I honestly don't see why we need to pay to get on mintpal. We have hit most of the major exchanges with not one cent spent. This is all thanks to the community. My vote goes for the multipool and development.

DITTO.. I don't believe in PAYING to be on an exchange !!! Graft and extortion..IMHO

My vote goes for the multipool and distribution amongst original stake holders especially to those OSH's that missed the exchange program.

Ok good and bad news...

Please comment.

After coordinating with Chinese community, we strongly propose to distribute those surplus coins in following proportion.

1. Vote on Mintpal  (40%)
2  Multpool (40%) (we have to do it asap, i registered coin2pool.com  ready for you) please let me know when site is ready!
3.  Android Wallet (20%)

As we have survived all the ups and downs together, we stand steadfast with team and we trust you guys. but we also needs transparency in funds distribution.

Mintpal is important, because we can cash some reserved coins for further development such as multipool, which we suggest we start working on now, and we send out a timetable.

We also want to move fast with team and let us know if we can help.

P/s: any bounties for my humble contribution. Thanks!

Please give me an address for my 5000 C2.0 donation
(for votes on Mintpal or for the giveaway to new users)

C'mon..paying an exchange to get LISTED...REALLY ?

AT LEAST CONSIDER... USING THAT SAME AMOUNT TO RE-IMBURSE THOSE THAT MISSED THE EXCHANGE TO C2.0. If funds are used to pay off MintPal rather than re-imbursement...I'm outta here.  Talk 'bout a greedy idea.............

Please don't pay for votes on Mintpal. Such a waste. No exchange should need payment for a coin to feature.

Not really paying the exchange to get listed, but paying people who are voting for Coin2 on Mintpal.

I agree to re-imburse people who missed the exchange, but not with my own coins... We are speaking about 4.5 millions of coins...

Oh I see. We shouldn't need to pay lazy people to vote. I have voted everyday multiple times a day since it started. It isn't that hard. I even vote on my mobile phone while at work.

calm down ,
i dont see any official statement that say unclaimed coins(funds) will be use for paying an exchange to get listed.
it just suggestion from some user(s)
if they want so badly to get listed on mintpal they can pay from their own pocket ,
i rather vote manual 5 votes per hour as community than paying.

"just suggestion from some user(s)" is exactly who my response was directed to. If the DEVS agree to pay off MintPal....THEN I'm out Wink

Here is my original post about votes for Mintpal and my donation for this purpose:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483847.msg6255421#msg6255421

There is a surplus as the Dev team decided to make 60 millions of C2.0 instead of 50 millions.
