To be honest, it probably does not sound very funny, but very sarcastic. Therefore, I probably join this understanding of the situation, so I think that it will be very honestly said that this year is really terrible.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It may be not a good year for so far for some people due to KYC rules or fake ICOs. But overall it’s not that bad I believe. So maybe it is not a blast year for us but not a worst time too

The market started late last year, but am sure the market will go up as expected but currently we hace to admit to the current market situation. The market will rise hopefully 4th quarter of this year that starts in less than 2-3weeks

Hey guys, I just wanted to share. I've observed and read many articles too regarding this topic and I would like to hear your opinion regarding this. Do you think that the cryptocurrency market is on a downward trend? Would altcoins be following this trend as well? Since Jan 2018, the market of crypto had been moving up and down way too much in a very short period of time. Do you think it is possible for an entity to manipulate the market so big?
2018 is not good for bitcoin but I guess that it will be just the first few months of the year. Ber months is coming and like last year bitcoin will increased again in the ber months and up to december and then will decreased again in january if that happens for sure people will know what to do.

Leading cryptocurrencies like BTC, ATC are slowly losing their price. Previous year was a great one for BTC as price reached a high peak. But, now people are taking things slow regarding buying this currencies at high price.

What is more, 2018 is a dump year for crypto currency, just everything is falling down and there are small chances to save it's value and get back to previous levels for altcoins.
At the same time it is opportunity for a newcomers.

Yes, this year may not be the best year for the cryptocurrencies. Most of them are losing their price gradually. But, with the advancement of system where people can use cryptocurrencies, it is hoped to gain values in upcoming years.

i think, the main problem why this year is very bad of the crypto is, in this year Crypto really have a problem with regulations, SEC, ETF and something like that, why we should need that thing ? Why its need to be illegal in one country and in another country crypto become legal.

Crypto should be free, because we hold the money, it becomes our responsibilty in this case, government dont need to take a handle in this part, im sure they just want the tax and fees of our profit in crypto

if we speak globally, then perhaps this is so. But the fact that the crypto currency is held at a level is already a success. The best forecasts for 2020.

In my opinion, it is certain that this year is the worst year for Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general, in the previous months there has been no significant evolution or rise, just continuous decline. So unfortunately  this is a difficult situation for all the users of cryptocurrency. On the other hand, we must just accept it ( the Big dump ) because regrettably, we have nothing to do. Just we must wait, and hoping that everything will changer for better in the near future. I am pretty sure that Bitcoin will back and more stronger than before. just some problems take time to overcome.
Better is coming. Believe in hope.

I think thwt the rise from 2017 was just too big to be sustainable, and what we see now is just a normal correction. However, as some point we will reach the ATH again, as it always happened in the crypto market.

We still are in august. We should let the year end than we will be able to calculate the condition of 2018 but we have to be aware about our investment. Market condition analyzing will be the best solution for us and hopefully very soon we will get our profits.

I do not think this year will be of little prosperity for the crypto market, rather I could say that the year 2017 was so abnormally affected by irrational speculation that the market is still trying to digest that unexpected euphoria to regain a range of growth more in line with the organic trajectory observed during the years 2016 and 2017.

Therefore, perhaps 2018 will be remembered as the year in which the market recovered from the fictitious prices of 2017, to recover a more stable and realistic uptrend for the coming years.

Yes, I also think that since this year was very sad, there were no big leaps, and according to this all the critics fall in price, but the forecasts for the next year should surprise us, as this can not go on forever, so we are waiting for a miracle and it will necessarily happen
