No if we see the price this time last year to this year, but coin is way more priced than it was last year, what we have seen in the end of last year was unpredicted and sharp growth, if something grows that sharp it will fall and stabilize again but still higher than previous base level.

I think the bull run that occurred about late last year to early this year put currency in the spotlight and some big players or elite are not happy with it and the financial liberation that comes with the prosperity of cryptocurrency to ordinary people.So they might be trying to frustrate out of it. I don't want to believe a market correction would take this long.

Though 2018 might not be too rosy for crypto but the last quarter of the year will be positive.... Manipulations does happen and it does in real time businesses so crypto is not left out but I think crypto market is in it's correction stage and when market finally adjusted things will be much better around here and mind you this technology has been fought for all the way and it's here to stay ( Blockchain technology)

Yeah I know you are looking at the current market and judging or looking at how btc and other altcoins has been through out the year. But one thing we should know is that we have not passed even three quarters of the year so we just have to wait and see what will happen at the end of the whole year.

Well the month has four months or more before it comes to an end, So let's still hope and wait that 2018 will still turn around for good, I believe that two week or less is enough for crypto market to jump up.

Same thing said by so many school of thoughts, but looking at the charts, it will be noticed that the market had a very huge bull run late last year to early this year, from all indications, the correction will still continue for sometime before another run
The conditions are not the same as last year that´s for sure, many of the greatest ICOs would now be unbelievable, and there is a drag due to scam and things like Tezos or the DAO. |

I think manipulating the market is very difficult to happen, remembering to do that must have a large amount of funds, in my opinion the price decline is currently due to many things that have happened. for example, banning in countries, etc. |

I am still hoping and always positive that cryptocurrency will still have a chance to kick going upward the last quarter of the year 2018. I am doubtful that someone manipulating the market, it still the people's who are responsible of what's going on. Many ICO delays and scammers exist which also hindrance to improve cyrpto and creates a negative impact to all traders and investors. Many are prefer to stay patient and hopeful that the market will be ok for the remaining quarter or early next year. |

Since it is possible and I have witnessed it myself how some small pump and dump group manipulate the crypto price then it is still possible for big entity to manipulate the crypto market |

There is a big possibility that those whales are now more active and smarter than last year's manipulation. Bitcoin was reported as over sold last year and even expert traders in tradingview.com was expecting this type of scenario where BTC and other cryptocurrencies will suffer because of the hype last year. History repeats itself and this is not the first time it happen where a price movement of cryptocurrency moves negatively. We better prepare by next year because there is a possibility that cryptocurrencies will bloom higher and greater than last year. You better start grab your favorite altcoin at its lowest price and today is the best time for that.
