It’s true 2018 is not a good year for cryptocurrency. Because prices are not rising with the expectation and so many scam projects are also connect with the market. That’s why many investors are afraid to invest on this project.
don't just say 2018 is the worst year of crypto because this is not the end of 2018. wait until the end of 2018 if crypto prices do not rise then we deserve to say 2018 is a year that is not good for crypto. crypto prices usually go up at the end of the year. we can only be patient and pray hopefully it will rise later this year. |

Hey guys, I just wanted to share. I've observed and read many articles too regarding this topic and I would like to hear your opinion regarding this. Do you think that the cryptocurrency market is on a downward trend? Would altcoins be following this trend as well? Since Jan 2018, the market of crypto had been moving up and down way too much in a very short period of time. Do you think it is possible for an entity to manipulate the market so big?
Cryptocurency downward trend depends not on Manipulation. Rather on Liquidity. A coins value would start to depreciate if there is Presence of lowered Liquidity. Cryptocurrency is in it Bad times |

2018 is not over yet. after there was a rapid growth in late 2017, now the crypto market is resting. I think that in the near future there will be a new wave of growth of the entire crypto market. and this year we will see new price records. Now the main thing is not to panic and wait.

In 2017, the bull market started in the Winter. I believe this year will be the same, especially when ETF is approved. The price is at very low so this is the good time for investing and when the market go up, we will have a big profit. So just be patient now.

I think that until today the one of 2018 is one of the worst crises in the cryptocurrency market since its birth, but I continue to remain confident about a recovery in the coming months. Exactly you are right, that it is not over yet. We are still on the month of August and still have 4 months to go to end the year of 2018. So we.cannot say the year of 2018 is not prosperous gor cryptocurrency. It might be next month and it will fully recover. |

I think 2018 is a very good year for cryptocurrency. The altcoins like PRG, ICX and ADA are excellent for investment and shall rise very soon after the launch of paragon space. |

So it seems to me that there is still a lot of hype and hopes around in the crypto community. If you google for predictions on bitcoin value in 2018 most of them still are above ATH even though the current market is not that promising.
However, in my opinion, it is possible that the whole of 2018 will be a bad year for crypto and we will end up with Bitcoin being worth less than 5k in December. (and a similar low total crypto marketcap over all). This will only leave the real investors and I hope it will serve to stabilize the market and allow crypto to be actually used anywhere.
