Great article! "ZEIT can handle BTC current volume without even blinking" if that is true, I think such info should be more exposed on 1st page and website, since new persons check usually only those and will not have a chance realizing how ZEIT is great

I agree as when newbies are looking for crypto currencies they always open up the first page of the thread so yes we need this article on the first page. I will also promote this article on Twitter and other social media sites and I highly recommend everyone else here do the same to bring more exposure to ZEIT. By the way it''s great to see the price going back up above 1 sat, glad I picked up a few million while it was under 1 sats.

FYI:
If your wallet is not Encrypted, ie: you don't have to unlock it to stake.
It can slow down your initial syncing dramatically.
To correct this you can encrypt your wallet or if you don't want to encrypt your wallet,
run zeitcoin with the following parameters, zeitcoin-qt.exe  -gen=0  , this will sync without trying to stake, once you are fully synced ,
restart zeitcoin normally to stake your coins,

I had some issues with stuck wallet syncing on ubuntu.  Wallet repair or rescanning didn't help, but getting newer version fixed the issue. I will share how I managed to build qt wallet on ubuntu. Maybe there is an easier way, but this is what worked for me.

cd src/leveldb/
chmod a+x build_detect_platform
./build_detect_platform build_config.mk ./

In zeitcoin-qt.pro file:
uncommented below line
LIBS += -lboost_system -lboost_filesystem -lboost_program_options -lboost_thread

changed
BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53
to
BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=

and deleted those lines
isEmpty(BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX) {
macx:BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX = -mt
windows:BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX = -mgw44-mt-s-1_53
}
