Are you serious? That website, with no offence, is looking like the early days websites of the internet. That can also be said about the logo. The project is exciting but I agree with the people saying the website is out-dated. There are so many people who can change the website for way better. This looks so unprofessional and not up to date, that it will definitely scare off people. Same goes for the logo and the ANN-page.

You don't have to fix what is not broken? Come on. This is not broken but this is not pretty neither and more important: not professional neither. I would gladly spent a couple of days to change: logo, ANN-page and website. I guarantee you it will cause a huge positive impact on the community and the price of the coin as well.

Zeitcoin wallets allow you to earn interest and transaction fees, the PoW wallets do not.
Zeitcoin Proof of Stake wallets keep the network running , as the ASICS keep the PoW network running ,
except zeitcoin is energy efficient /sustainable and PoW is energy wasteful / unsustainable.

Does this happen even the wallet is locket? I'm getting high CPU usage even with a locked wallet.

Decreasing the # of blocks decreases the CPU to the lower % range.

I personally think the current website is great and professional.
Logo is not changing either.
If you have that many changes you want done ,
I suggest making up your own coin, that way you have free reign to design everything however you want.

If they are frighten of a web site, then they have other issues that are more pressing to be concerned with.
Frighten and timid people are not wanted, as they will turn tail and run at a moments notice.
If the website filters those people out , then I consider that a plus not a minus.
As the website states, The Will To Make a Difference.

Rent_A_Ray did a great job, but I also would like to see new website, clearer ann and more developers that could help out Ray in his work. There is always room for improvements. Check out for example 1337 wallet. I would donate some ZEIT for improvements and probably many would do the same. So if anyone is capable of implementing them please do and post your address

Personally I do not like to condemn things in advance - a continuous improvement process for the coin shouldn't be counterproductive.

@LostWords: be careful with changings of the logo - the actual ZEIT logo ist very bold/turbulent and for me it looks like 1990 / 2000 style.
The last 5 years logo trends mainly went to simple/plain/reduced styles (Flat Design):

I am not into changing things , just for the sake of changing them.
At my age , not enough time left for that.  

At the moment , between exchanges and trying to find a way to make the ULI happen within 6 months,
I have no time left to worry about a website design.

http://www.zeit-coin.net  allows the wallets downloads, from a security standpoint , access can not just be handed over for someone to play with the design.

If you guys want to create a secondary website specific for marketing / whatever and looking pretty, please go right ahead and provide a url when finished.
We will add it to the OP, and Coinmarketcap with the 2nd url and you guys can update it everyday if you want.

Make sure they are in sync before sending coins to them.
Click on Status link https://tradesatoshi.com/Status and compare their Zeitcoin Block # with the Block explorer.

Last look their sync was only up to late Nov 2014.
So it will probably be 3 or 4 days before they are fully synced and ready to trade zeitcoins.

I would be interested to know exactly what is so "frightening" about the website? Aside from a few needed updates, I personally see nothing wrong with it. It is an informative website with links to everything anyone needs to get started. The one thing I do agree with is what _tompin_ said about the need for more developers. Ray has done a fantastic job and would do perfectly well as lead developer. But I'm sure he would appreciate some help. He seems to be very busy with his real world job, and that is understandable. And I also agree that the ann page needs a little updating as well. However, I also agree with kiklo that due to the content of the webpage, we simply can't hand the admin privileges over to just anyone. There is no need for a complete overhaul of the site.
