Looks like many ethereum holders sell their assets to cause a pretty drastic price reduction. We're patient, look at this last month. I don't think this will happen long. But many altcoins experience price increases when ethereum goes down.

Someone is really dumping their ETH for some reason, its hard to know why but hopefully they will come back again in this market. Maybe they just want to secure their money in this bear market. Its good to see the market on green candles today and I know this can be a good  beginning again for this market. ETH is a great coin and it will rise again.

I think that it is special manipulation of the market related to next changes in Ethereum protocol and staking. They will increase price after successful implementation of Constantinople update.

In this case I'm on conspiracy theory side also 
Not only about Etherium changes but more about big finance.
It's about two years with rumors about big, world's class players (banks and funds) who's want to eat whole crypto-market.
And of course they will go inside with big manipulations and changes of the market's rooles.
So, low (and even lower) price with panic trough the media = it is something what we will see in the near future.
For year or less or more - no one knows.
It's a time to harden your balls or leave this market.

I really didn't expect this, what do you think happened to ethereum. will ethereum be back in the near future! I hope that in the near future ethereum will return.

For what have happen to ETH price now,  is the best chance for investors to buy more eth and store in the wallet for a long time or until the price is mooning. ETH has a good future coin and has lot of features that investors would buy. Hopefully next month this coin will boom.

Ethereum has got a giant lead. The most developers. There’s unbelievable human capital in the system. But they’ve got a big transition to make. They’ve got to go from proof of work to proof of stake and deal with a mining community that’s going to lose money on that whole process. So we’ll see. I didn't expect ether to fall this way too. I think a lot of ICOs sold off their Ethereum  because they feared the market was going to crash further and there was less demands from new ICOs

Well obviously, profits are falling at this moment due to the downtrend not only in ethereum but to most of the tokens in the market. If we wouls be patient in the current market situation,, profit won't be lost. Holding in the meantime is advisable until the market starts to rise. Ethereum is one of the cryptos having a huge chance to recover due to its large community of users that will contribute for the increase on demand as well as its value.
