Do you realized that you are asking in thread that 3 years old? back when this was created the transaction fee of ethereum did not even experienced what it did this year when the fee climb up like what Bitcoin does.
OP is asking about when will Ethereum climb back again because that same year Ethereum made the ATH of 15 hundred dollars so he was looking when this will be taken back again.

There is no doubt that ethereum is the best profitable coin, if you look at the current marketcap data the difference with bitcoin is getting closer, I believe it will soon be ranked #1 so holding ethereum for the long term is my best advice.

to be rank number it is very difficult for ethereum. This platfrom will always be number 2 or 3 , the first place will be bitcoin place. In many years there are alot altcoin launched in order to beat bitcoin and no one of them success. As top 5 coinmarket , second place was good place for ethereum due many platfrom launched with better feature and technology than eth.

Thread was created in 2018, when ETH was around $150 I suppose OP was just hoping Ethereum price bounced back to ATH at the boom time when it was $1500, because in 2018 we there was a big crash. I think that was the OP's hope and if he's still here then that's exactly it.

Wrong Ethereum had reached almost 1,500$ back on that year though Drops the value over the month so that is why OP is so much concern about what had happen.
remember that is the ATH year of Ethereum before this year comes.

Lower transaction fee may not be the main advantage for the price increase after the London hardfork next month, the staking response will be major at least for a most part of the Q3-Q4 until the staking reward will be released and will get on exchanges. The token will also be burn at every transaction after the hard which control the token economics.

Lots of good news coming for this coin and for sure there are specualtors and supporters who already bought their

bag holds to make sure that they won't be left behind, many up and down coming from the current market but for

people who understand and continue believing this project, today's dip is the best opportunities to collect and save

We can be certain that Vitalik Buterin is working extremely hard behind the scenes and as we know him from the past he isn't rolling any updates out that are not 100% secure. What you are doing is correct, because I have been investing in Ethereum for a long time and it has been proven that Ethereum has given me
profit several times. The most important thing is to be able to get big profits from Ethereum, we have to be patient, don't worry if we see

I'm feeling bullish right now. In summation, the overall market situation is bullish and London's upgrade is on its way in August. Ethereum must go up before it can go down. There is the possibility that it will keep rising or that it will go down. No one knows, since market manipulation is real, so we should act wisely.

But if I understood everything correctly the London update is not supposed to improve scalability. I think that is what most people are waiting for, low transaction fees. That is supposed to be done with the next update, but that one will be far in the future. As far as I know Vitalik Buterin said that is not going to happen before late 2022. As he is conservative usually with his deadlines, I hope an update that improves scalability will come even earlier.
