Any news about this pool? The first games are scheduled on Tuesday. That's less than a week from today.

A few of us agreed on a 0.003 entry fee, we still have time to advertise it a little bit and try to bring a few more players. I think we had ~15 last year.

Probably, @hilariousetc can create a pool and send an invitation to all of interested in here. All to have a one month to pay the entry fee.
Then we can easily promote this pool over the forum.

I see a potential problem with that plan. You can delay collecting the money but you can't delay making picks in Superbru. You get about 15 "default picks" and that is it. What is the incentive for somebody to join let's say 3 weeks after CL started and begin our pool with big points handicap?

If somebody is on the line and thinking about joining our pool my advice is to join free CL pool and make picks. That way if join our pool at later date you will have all the points.

Problem is that I don't expect a lot of people who will find about our pool late after CL already started will have the picks already made in Superbru.

There's no issue other than missing out getting people signed up in time. As I stated in the other thread once you pledge to join I'll send them the link to sign up so people can play straight away. If they don't pay later down the line when I collect money then they will just be removed so people won't need to use default picks. I'm just trying to get as many users interested as I can since I left it a little late and people can worry about paying later. Spread the word anyway. I'm sure we'll get most of the regulars but it would be nice to get some fresh faces.

£25 in bitcoin to join and all money will be split between the top 3-5 users (depending on how many players sign up). I won't be collecting in the money until a month from now so there's plenty of time to get the money together to pay.

Zenit in the championship has a perfect performance at home, Club Brugge did not start the new season very well
Zenit in St. Petersburg scores more than three goals on average that's an Over 2.5 on this match es well for me, and Zenit to win

Dynamo scored two goals in each of the three qualifying matches, Juventus has conceded a goal in both championship away games so far
In three of the four mutual matches, both teams scored a goal and probably there will be a n Over 2,5 and both to score today as well, and Juventus should win this one

Rennes - Krasnodar, both teams with Under scored goals stats, will avoid to bet on

Chelsea played three efficient games in a row, Sevilla kept the net intact only once in four games but will be difficult to do so tonight, Both to score and Chelsea to win is my pick

Lazio started the new season badly and on the other side Borussia has won three of their four league games
Lazio conceded eight goals in their last three games, Borussia to win with a handicap maybe

Barcelona is a much better team than Ferencvaros
Ferencvaros has no experience playing in the Champions League, but will they make history tonight?   I will avoid this one on my slip

^ on PSG - ManUTD I am expecting an Over 2.5 goals scored, and probably a both to score as well
PSG has scored ten goals in the last two matches in Ligue1, Manchester United played four very efficient games in the Premiership, except the one against Tottenham

Leipzig is very good playing at home at the start of the season and on the other side, Basaksehir has a lot of form problems at the beginning of the season
Only two goals were scored by Basaksehir in five championship games... RB L to win -1.5

Missed that upset but my underdog pick for the day is still riding high, the customary penalty from Fernandes as I predicted haha. Only just started watching the game though and have to say that United actually aren't playing like total shit. They could even score one more if they were just a bit sharper on the break. Neymar/Mbappe look pretty frustrated so OGS looks like he's getting his tactics right.

Lazio look pretty against BVB, the Germans really having a bad early season.

yap here is 11 players, most of us set the odds at the last minute. I somehow do it because I want to leave the possibility to change my mind.

I went for the draw. Looks like most backed Dortmund to win and really surprised nobody went with the home win, but that's the CL for you. Hard to predict.

I watched it. They were lucky to win and didn't deserve it in m opinion. Fernandes missed another penalty but because Navas came off his line they made him retake it. With VAR now half of the penalties saved are going to have to be retaken. PSG should have had a couple of penalties as well.

All six RB Salzburg's matches this season has been quite effective, they scored and conceded goals as well
In the last four games Lokomotiv Moscow won with no handicap, they will probably score tonight but RB will win this one

Real has shown a lot of weaknesses in defense in some matches, Shakhtar is very efficient at the beginning of the new season but can they take any points from Madrid tonight? I don't think so...

Bayern is great at home for now and their performance is simply amazing, Atletico has scored just two goals in their previous three games, and the 3 points of this match will be secured by Bayern... Oblak will have a hard time tonight  

Inter easily scores and concedes goals at the start of the championship, Borussia conceded a goal in all four league games
Inter is more efficient at home and Borussia as a guest, ah, statistics...   I simply hope that Inter will win this one

Manchester City is scoring goals easily for now, Porto has conceded five goals in the previous two games, City should get those 3 points with a handicap tonight

Ajax has scored ten goals in three home games so far, Liverpool scores very easily and concedes goals at the start of the new season
Both teams play a very offensive football and there will be loads of goals tonight as well, and I'm not so confident in Liverpool's win as the bookies are, but anyway my bet is both to score, over 2.5 and Liverpool to win

In two home games in the Champions League qualifiers, Mitdjylland scored seven goals, Atalanta has scored and conceded goals in all matches so far
As many as 23 goals has been scored in four games for Atalanta this season, there will be lot of goals tonight as well, and Atalanta is my pick to win this match

would not call Brugge favourite, Zenit was a bit more favoured by betting companies, and it seems that both teams played well, with Ketelaere scored in the added time, for Brugge to win, it is very important win for them to reach next phase, hardly in Champions league, but could be third and continue their play in Europa league

Trofo I think you told me I should stick to making underdog picks and so far, you're right. I made a bet on both underdogs: Shakhtar (14/1), Lokomotiv (8/1)and so far I'm looking good at HT, 0-3 to Shakhtar and Lokomotiv actually led until very late in first half! Weirdly enough, it's Lokomotiv 10/1 live odds now. The stats don't look half bad.

This has now encouraged me to put a bet on Porto at 10/1, updated. If Lokomotiv win, I'm probably dumping more money down...

Too bad my pool picks suck really badly. Happy still.

Not watching the game (eyes on Real) but I actually have a very modest parlay on Liverpool/Atalanta/AC Milan in Europa.

Nobody backed that which isn't surprising. Saw they were 3-0 down at half time and was wondering what was going on. It's the El Classico on Saturday as well. That will be interesting given how Barca's team has been decimated since last season.

If the right group is the one accessed trough the link in the PM on bitcointalk than the right group is the one with 11 players at the moment. I am 100% sure I joined only that one. I still have invitation available for the other one on Superbru.

In the end it is not a problem since all your points will be transferred in whatever group we (hilarius) decide to use as "right one".
