I deleted the other pool. There was only one user in that not in the other and I messaged them to join it. There's only 11 or 12 users signed up so I mighty just pay 2 places, maybe three at the most otherwise there won't be much to win. I'm still up for the pool being free and first place takes all the sponsorship money but it seemed most who chimed in didn't want that.

Damn I was going into Liverpool game with a lot of money and did a noob mistake of not checking the lineup. All 3 bad boys on the bench, and now Fabinho injured, I would have thought we could lose this one even if we play all our main forwards after HT, if not for the Jota goal.

Currently regretting passing on Gladbach as they're leading Real 2-0! The stats show they've been weathering a storm though. I did pick Ajax, but stupidly paired them with Inter =D, not that it might matter now they let Atalanta back into the game. Not bad for entertainment if you're not watching Liverpool play pragmatic football.

We have some quite nice games to be played

Krasnodar has not been playing well lately, they only won once on the last four duels, and Chelsea is undefeated in five consecutive games
Chelsea should win this one with a handicap

Basaksehir has scored seven goals in their last two league matches, PSG has been scoring goals very easily lately as well
Both teams conceded two goals in the first round of the Champions League, so we can expect an over scored and both to score, but will PSG win this easily as the bookies are predicting? I don't think so  

Sevilla has three matches without a goal in a row and the last time they won a match is almost a month ago
Rennes concedes fewer away goals lately, Sevilla will try to push this match for a win from the first minute, will probably win but with a minimum goals scored

Club Brugge can score easily and receive goals as well lately, Lazio is in a series of three efficient games
Both teams played efficient matches in the first round of the Champions League, that can be a nice draw with loads of goals

Borussia is very efficient at home,and in the last seven games, Zenit managed to score a goal
In the two last mutual duels, both teams scored a goal, it will be hard, but I think that Borussia will win this one

Ferencvaros has not gained enough experience and has no enough quality for the Champions League. Dynamo Kiev is playing better away from home this season and they much more experienced when it comes to European performances but that's a chance for Ferencvaros to try to grab some points, I'll go for a draw, I will risk it,

Juventus played three inefficient games in a row and Barcelona is not shining as well
Two of the previous four mutual duels ended without goals, CR is still covid positive so Messi can try to take this match a three points for Barcelona

Only one ineffective game has Manchester United played this season and Leipzig plays very well at the beginning of the season as well
Both teams scored two goals in the first round so a both to score and MUTD to win is my pick

Not bad analysis big_daddy but for this particular season, I'm actually throwing out what I know about form as teams are rotating more than ever before -- Covid, 5 subs in UCL, injuries, low # of transfers. So I think after this stage as we approach November, it could be just a matter of fresh legs and hunger versus very tired and worn out first-teamers (At least, that's my take I was half-discussing with Trofo too, which is why I'm still backing Lazio with all their missing squad!).

Neymar out of the PSG clash so I'm staring down a possible miss on underdog win (I didn't take them) but after Jorginho's penalty miss, Krasnodar have had more threats! Edit: Odoi just made it 0-1

Chelsea 3:0 up so this one is out of your reach. I watched parts of this game and this is very unfair to Krasnodar. They were actually a better side for whole second half. Hopefully it stays like this. I have a bet on Chelsea to win and under 3.5 goals.

Can't decide what to watch from the late games. I am torn between Juve - Barca and Man-Utd - Leipzig. I have much more money riding on Leipzig game but in the end I think I can't miss on clash of the fallen giants

First 2 were quite obvious but 3rd one was really close, could have stand. Big win for Barca and will probably help them a lot to forget loosing from Real. Maybe the players just waited for the board to step down and will now play much better. Even Griezmann looked good tonight and Pjanic looked very good. I thought he has no place in Barca midfield but he seems like better option then Busquets at the moment.

I was really surprised with Man Utd crushing Leipzig 5:0. I expected Germans to do much better and take maybe a point here but it seams they just broke at the end of the match or maybe Rashford really wanted to prove that he has to play from minute one

First two goals were borderline offside and this could have probably be very different match if they got disallowed. I am glad VAR did not ruin this game. Can just wonder what would happen if this was Premier League and not CL.

nevertheless, Fradi took first point yesterday, it was a match better than expected, not much to see in the first half, but they succeed to score at the end, with a bit of luck, but surely deserved from their second half performance

Had an eight-fold accumulator on Tuesday and they all came in apart from the Porto draw I picked which was annoying.

I think he has to be negative 24h before the game to be able to play, and from what we know he's got no symptoms and could play as soon as he's cleared to. So, probably a matter of days.

Yeah, for the offside zone is also need some skill, Rashford knows how to avoid it. I think I read somewhere that also in Serie A Morata had two denied goals because of offside. he would have to start being more careful with positioning.

Well there's not much point being cocky because you can win one round then get next to zero points the next. I'm not normally that good on the CL because I don't know half the teams so it was just luck really. As for betting, I'm £50 down this season so far but I'm several thousands in profit in the long run so I don't worry too much about. I don't bet huge amounts though. Usually £25 a week but I like big odds stuff so when I win it's usually a decent chunk.

I think you should get 14 default picks from superbru and depending on what those were you could end up higher than some of the people on the leader-board. Happened to me on the first round of the PL pool as someone joined late and their default picks were more than the points I'd received. You can try it and see what points you get if any. I'm not collecting money in for a while so you could join and see how you do and choose whether to continue or not when I collect money in.

Like I said, I think you get 14 free picks but that's for the Premier League at least. Depending on what they picked you could get a fair few points from them. No harm in trying though. Bottom person is on 22.5 and there's only 12 people in the pool so it wouldn't be that difficult to move up the board. I'm sure one or two will drop out/not pay as well. No games I'm that interested in tomorrow but might watch the Barca V Kiev just to see if Barca spank them. Turns out he only got 3 points which is a shame. I think you could still play though. Some weeks people get next to zero points so winning something is still achievable though I would understand if you didn't want to play on. Maybe play up until I collect the money in and see how well you do. Won't hurt to give it a go.

There are few reasons for me not to join this year.
1. Having only 3 points sucks where the others have 40+ points
2. I will have very busy time in the coming weeks so not sure about watching many games except Liverpool's
3. I really do not have much idea about other teams than English teams.

So, I decided to pass this year but hopefully in the next year I will not miss it.
