Kiev Protests Oxford University Press Atlas Naming Crimea as Part of Russia

Kiev is concerned with an Oxford University Press geography textbook that refers to Crimea as a part of Russia, the Ukraine Embassy to the United Kingdom said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The official urged the publisher to update its new edition "in order not to bring The Oxford University Press into disrepute."

 Dan Selinger, the spokesperson for Oxford University Press, told Sputnik: 

"In developing our atlases and geographic resources, we carry out thorough research on the political, social, and economic realities at the time of publication. Over the decades I have watch the Republican Party change positions with the Democrat Party, in the things they believe. At times they both simultaneously promoted many positions that were the same, but with different wording so that their followers didn't realize what they were doing.

The main point of political parties isn't to promote a political position. The main point is to get the people to give validity to a system, at least that's the way it is in the States.

If there is civil war goin on in your country, or if it is being attacked by some other country that is trying to rule over it, be sure to take some time off and figure out exactly what the political stances are of those who are promoting the fighting. If it simply has to do with live or die, okay. But if there is a lot more to it, it is simply one group of political bad people trying to beat down another group of political bad people. And they are using a political campaign to excite the people into doing something that the people would not do otherwise.

This is exactly the thing that Hitler did to the people of Germany before and during WWII. It is exactly the thing that almost all the leaders of warring nations do. The people want peace. But they are so stupid that they listen to their leaders who want war.

The Constitution is a piece of paper. It doesn't do anything.

The Constitution allows these guys to say anything that they want.

There are certain things in the Constitution that these guys promised to do. One of the things is to not mess with people if they don't give government permission to mess with them.

However, the Constitution isn't going to jump up and slap the naughty presidents when they do something wrong. That is up to Congress to do.

In the same way, the Constitution isn't going to jump up and slap these presidents when they mess with the rights of a man or woman. The Constitution can't. It is only a piece of paper. The presidency is only an office. Whenever any of these guys does something, it is a man doing it. It is not the President doing it no matter how hard he says it is the President doing it.

Ukrainian soldier detained after trying to cross the Crimean border illegally. According to him, he refused to follow the orders of his commanding officer and was severely beaten by him. Then left a location of his unit and walked along the railroad until reaching the border.
