Is there anything more to discuss about Crimea?

Not really, but the ripples in the water will be made for some time by Kiev and the West. They can be discussed.

Water supplies, maybe? Ukraine stopped water supplies to Crimea, despite what they have no debts.

Why should a Russian federal subject depend upon another country for its water and electricity supplies? Russia should immediately build power and water lines connecting Crimea from Rostov or Krasnodar.

A small re-post:
http://www.vz.ru/news/2014/4/14/681926.html

Turchinov's gang tries to cut off water supplies.

In 1993 Crimean Republic declared an independence (everything was done according to constitution and treaty). Then Kiev switched off the water, gas and electricity supplues, forcing Crimea to cancel their decision.

I see that nothing has been changed since 1993, they are using blackmailing again... Stupid clowns.

Nothing new. Crimea is investigating alternatives, like building a water pipeline under Kerch strait or drilling Artesian wells. They are also investigating desalination options. A solution should be ready by 2015. Well, Mallorca and Gran Canaria are almost entirely dependent on imported water, so I don't foresee any technical problems for Crimea either.

They will be done by tomorrow Smiley))))))

If water and electricity lines were that easy to build...

It will take a few years

Well... there are two options.

1. Build a water pipeline from the Taman Peninsula. Might take more than a year. By that time this years wheat and barley crops might be severely affected.

2. Invade the Oblast of Kherson. I'd prefer this option. Might take 2-3 days.  Grin

Also, there are unconfirmed reports that the Crimean authorities have asked 4,000 Tatars to leave the territory.

Also, there are unconfirmed reports that the Crimean authorities have asked 4,000 Tatars to leave the territory.

I think that was the talk of relocating from state-owned land. Many Tatars settled on some of the state land without any prior permit, and some of that land is planned for infrastructure development.

There was no talk about evicting Tatars from Crimea, as your statement seems to indicate.

I got the news from Twitter, so can't be verified. In the 1990s, Kravchuk settled a lot of Tatars in villages populated by the ethnic Russians. Sometimes, the native Russians were expelled by the use of force. But I don't support the idea of granting Russian citizenship to any of the 300,000 Tatars living there. They are a stone age people with stone age mentality. They will bring no good to Russia other than terrorism.

Tatars are Turks and they are not an European ethnic group. During a recent poll, a majority of them wanted Crimea to merge with Turkey. None of these people do any economic activity and the crime rate is extremely high in regions where they live. Either Turkey should taken then back, or the US should grant them refugee status and take them to the North America.

So just because they were neglected by centuries by the Russian rulers you want them out of their lands?
That doesn't sound like the federation everybody is dreaming off , more like the ones some of us have nightmares about it . )

It doesn't matter. Crimea it's their home and they have lived long enough.
Should Italians throw out half of Europe's population?

I would love to see some minority , you know which flown back to India , but that is not possible and seriously thinking... it's not fair.
If I were in power I would think of a solution for that but I wouldn't propose deportation no matter how much i'm pissed at them.

If they want to live there then they have to obey the local rules. Squatting illegally on land owned by others is not going to help. Also, they have to live in a civilized way, and not like the Turks or the Arabs.

Are any Ukrainians or Russians thrown out of the county for those reasons alone ?

I haven't seen any federal lands in the new york which were seized by moscovites. The same is incorrect for crimean tatars who stole a lot of public land in 1990s. I have to remind that seizure of state property is a crime.

If you wish to stay in any country, you will need a citizenship or residence permit. The residence permit is impossible to obtain while being a criminal. Sometimes citizenship could be obtained much easier, but obtaining a citizenship means that you went into the jurisdiction of this country.

So, possible options are:

1) If you wish to get a residence permit then you have to free public lands.
2) If you wish to get a citizenship then you have to free public land too. If you won't do this then you will receive a subpoena immediately after obtaining citizenship.

What would you do?

Exactly. Not only that. They are raping local girls, they are distributing drugs to the boys and doing all sort of barbaric crimes. Do you think this is just coincidence? No. The Tatars want to terrorize the local population, so that they will flee their villages. This is especially true in some of the Southern districts of Crimea, such as Bakhchysarai and Kirovski.
