Hi Sandor, sorry to disturb you, I have a WiiBox with the latest V3 firmware (LAG3355_12-RC10g) and now I would like to buy one GBlade, the firmware V3g support Gridseed Blade or only Gridseed Mini? Will be released upgrade in future or this is a EOL project? Please if the project is EOL could you release an upgrade firmware to revert the wiibox to openwrt or to the original firmware.
Thanks in advance W_M

It can't. Each 5 chips is equal to one chip within the miner.

HELP! MY gridseed just started showing strange things, "Unrecognized Response" and it was "dead", so I restarted BFGMiner 4.4 and now it just gives me the unrecognized responses, but it's still hashing, just not producing shares. What do I do?!?! PS. I'm not at home at the moment, is there a way to remotely restart it?

SO, using windows XP, I had a gridseed that was declared dead. I disabled the com port in the device manager, re-enabled it, started BFGminer, and it was giving nonsensical unrecognized blah blah blah. I hit "M" and "D" to disable the gridseed, changed the com port number in the device manager, re-enabled the gridseed again in BFGMiner, and voila, it all appears to work again.

Download BFGminer 4.4.0. ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626361.0) My batch file looks like this: bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o POOL:PORT -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -d gridseed -S gridseed:\\.\COM11 -S gridseed:\\.\COM13 -S gridseed:\\.\COM14 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM14:clock=838 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM13:clock=863 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM11:clock=875 You can open the Device Manager and find the COM ports of your gridseeds. Use the drivers installed with Gridseed. DO NOT use Zadig. That is only for CGMiner. Just set the clock speeds and find out which have many hardware errors. If you run for 1/2 an hour and none have HW, bump the speeds up a little bit and try again until you start to get them. Then drop the frequency just a little. Frequencies that work are: 800, 813, 825, 838, 850, 863, 875, 888, 900 If you need help, I'm on twitter @bradleyploof

I just wanted to say a big THANKS! The info in your post got my Gridseeds working in dual mode on Linux in a few hours time. I fought with them for a couple days trying to use Windows and could simply not get them to mine in dual mode whatsoever. Debian did the trick, rolled my own miners from source and blam, mining! Cheers.

And when I run the bfgminer i got the message OCL 0 & OCL 1 disable. This message mean my GPU's are disable right? Or is this means something else?

That means you GPU´s are not mining on bfgminer -> you can still run them with sgminer (x11, X13 etc..) One question: I have 2 GPU HD6870 in my system. And when I run the bfgminer i got the message OCL 0 & OCL 1 disable. This message mean my GPU's are disable right? Or is this means something else?

Hey guys!
I have two 5-chip gridseeds. I was minig scrypt long time via RPi, but now i want to mine sha256. So, here is my trouble. cgminer (gridseed version) is minig at a half speed (~5Gh per device) with 800Mh clock. What I'm doing wrong?
The run command is standard: ./cgminer --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=800,chips=5,modules=1,usefifo=0,btc=16 --hotplug=0 -o someurl -u someuser -p somepass
P.S.: all minerd and other cgminer (for my ants) threads are shut off.

Try btc=11 just for kicks...
Don't what that parameter means , but when I set to zero (btc=0) cgminer only rises LW value and not sending accepted shares. 23Gh avg. When I set to btc=1, It began to hash at 16Gh avg with some sending shares, but LW is increasing anyway. May be the problem in usb hub? It has 2A in. The power supply for each gridseed is as usual 12v 5a. Don't know what should I try yet.

is it worth over clocking the gridseeds a bit to like 900 instead of 850?
