The biggest joke of a country coin is what the hell is the average person is Spain going to do with any coins they receive? They can't go to a store and use them. They are worthless to the average person. The only thing they are good for is to exchange them for BTC and then they would need to exchange the BTC into their local currency. So all that would do is drive down the price since when a mom needs milk for the child they will take anything they can get since it was just giving to them free. That is if any were given away at all.

look @ AUR. Same sht, holding @ 0.024.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

There are systems in production that will be released soon so vendors and merchants can jump on board and accept btc, ltc and alt crypto out of the box. They would be electronic payments, this is the way of the future. Instant payments with no pending transactions and transparency. TBH, the dollar itself can be backed by cryptocurrency since its backed by literally nothing. With Crypto you actually have machines doing work converting energy(kW to currency) so it actually has something to show for. Fiat is arbitrarily given a value. We dont want this to happen though, we want this to be the universal way of spending and we want it to stay decentralised.

Also, yes the people of Spain need to be more informed of there coin.

It's obvious to me there's major market manipulation in SPA since launch, which continues. Network hash going up 100 GH/s in an instant, then dropping just as fast. Fake BTC injection to pump the price and then dumped. Even now as the price plummets, in the past hour hash tripled to over diff 800 and just dropped back to 150 in an instant. I would expect at least one more pump incoming!

Of course the is manipulation  since one guy held 50% of the coins. They got sucks BTC and then can buy and sell from themselves driving up the market for the next batch of suckers. Anyone that traded any BTC for this coin fell for the scam hook, line and sinker.

you're missing your own point about mathematical expectation: the probabilities don't have to be equal for SPA to be a better bet, SPA can even have a much lower probability of success if the payout is high enough. If the payout on SPA is 4x and tech is 2x, then probability of SPA success can be up to 1/2 of the tech stock and still be a better bet.

I didn't say that they had to be the same, I took issue with you assuming that they were.
Your long post basically comes down to the answer that which is the best investment comes down to the relative expectations of success, which we have no way of calculating.

Quote
so as long as p_spa is > 0.25 its still a better bet than tech stock if expectation is all your considering
But you have no model to explain why p_spa should be > 0.25.
So it isn't math, it is just guessing.

altcoin and bitcoin prices flock together against fiat money. Part of it is most altcoins are denominated in btc so it passes thru declines in btc immediately to altcoin. however, most altcoins have a much higher price volatility than btc, so always expect them to swing the direction of btc, but with greater magnitude.

of course, if theres altcoin specific news item thats driving prices, that can overwhelm any effect btc is having on the altcoin and destroy correlations

He wanted to say, that big guys dumped coins for our BTC and now are partying. Maybe some of them are coin developers, but I think the biggest snatchers are P&D teams.

Those, who scams us. I really feel like a sheep since 2 days. They earn unfairly, but it is another story, where they'll end after some time.

just because there are more people with a gpu than there are with asics? hah!... dream on kids! cryptocoins are in real money range now. real traders came in, real big companies are investing millions and probably even hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment and you think gpus are the future? ahahahhahahaha

that being said, i do believe some small market for the other algos will always exist because always small hash miners will still want to make a buck or too. but it won't get volumes. and if it gets volumes, asics will rape it... you really think it's impossible to make an assic mine scrypt-n or sha3... daydreaming in my opinion
volumes? do you thing biggest net hashrate = more coins ? wake up haha
coins are generated in any net hashrate and amount is defined by coin specs.
Asics just get more profitability compare with gpus. But amount of generated coins will be the same in any hashrate, just
someone can pick more than other with lover hash.
