So good news on something i have been working on for awhile, College Football!

I finally figured out what it was in my numbers that was causing me issues with the spreads i was calculating.  I made an adjustment very late last night and started to notice a change.  I started backtracking where i left off last night and i think i may have successfully redeveloped my college basketball system (its pure capping, unlike college basketball where i have state guidelines that will eliminate teams before i get to the capping part).

So far i have only gone through 6 weeks of last year but it has produced a record of 62-32-0 for 66%

The weekly results thus far are:

13-1
11-9
4-6
10-4
9-6
8-3
7-3

I am going to continue backtracking this for the rest of last season and all of the 2012 season.  If it returns a win rate of 59% or above for both the 2012 and 2013 seasons i am proud to say that i will finally be done tinkering with my college football system and will be ready for the 2014 season.  After this i will begin working with the NBA which is, in my opinion, the hardest sport to cap.

Welp.  Turns out i will not actually have any plays today.  There is one game that is currently off by half a point.  If that line ends up moving in the right direction ill update.

There were 3 games that got to the capping phase.  When i calculate the spreads for these 3 games all of them become no plays

Old Dominion is the closest to become a play.  It needs to be at +8 but i dont think it will get there.

The other two were VMI and Yale.

Also just because old dominion is the closest does not mean that it is stronger than the other two.  All of them are weighted equally.

I did see that old dominion had gotten to 8 however i was not around to lock it in.  So i am not going to add it to the official tracking since i did not post in the thread that i was locking it in.

If you want i can continue posting the plays that dont quite make it.  I never tracked them without the capping so i dont know how well they go.
