Hi,

it is the 'nature' of EPIC that it switches from one to thew next algo. TT switches the GPU into standby to save energy if an other algo than ProgPoW is in use. So that looks OK.

Yes I know. But I thought it is not required to continue to work if all results the miner would find gets rejected because a different algo is active.
Anyway you can choose what you like better - that is a good thing.

You should think about dualmining for example MTP in this idle time Smiley

I want the miner to work constantly in order to have heating in my room (even when the ProgPow092 algo is not active). How do I include this option in the TT miner? Do you have an older version that works non-stop?

Try this - keep in mind it is a beta!!

Windows: https://tradeproject.de/download/Miner/TT-Miner-3.0.6-Beta6.zip
Linux: https://tradeproject.de/download/Miner/TT-Miner-3.0.6-Beta6.tar.xz

you can mine EPIC and during the non-ProgPoW phase you can mine any other coin you like and TT have algo support for it. Your GPU needs the memory to hold both algos and their required data. So if you want to mine EPIC & Zcoin you need 8GB or more.

If you have any issues please DM me which coins you want to mine at which pool, I will then check your command line. Unfortunately it isn't that easy anymore with this new EPIC feature....

Thanks.

Hi,

version 3.0.6 if TT-Miner is available. Here are the most important fixes and new features:
-   Faster start
-   Support for EPIC/Progpow (epic.cash)
-   Added a ‘multi-mining’ (alternate coin) mode that allows to mine something else than epic the epic network switches to RandomX or Cuckoo.
-   Detects the installed cuda version on linux
-   Added information of the active algo to the API response
-   Added new information line: -poolinfo
-   Added new coins for the -coin command line option. This will help to improve the DAG handling and avoid double creations of the DAG.

Supported values for -coin:
-   HORA
-   SERO
-   BNA
-   EPIC
-   ZANO
-   ETC
-   ETH
-   CLO
-   PIRL

The new pool info line: It shows you which pool is the active one (marked with stars) and which timeshare each pool got so far:
22:14:51 Pool:        Def pool: [A2:R0 0.0%]  mining time: 00:02:38   45.9%  epic.icemining.ca:4000
22:14:51 Pool:    *** Alt pool: [A2:R0 0.0%]  mining time: 00:03:06   54.0%  eu1.ethermine.org:4444

A sample command line for the EPIC/SERO pair would look like this. Please note that you need to add these command line options:
-   -AALT      alternate algo
-   -coinalt   alternate coin
-   -PALT      alternate pool/wallet/user information

Windows:
TT-Miner.exe -A PROGPOW092 -coin EPIC -poolinfo -luck -log -logpool -P <ACCOUNT>.<WORKER>:<PASSWORTD>@<SERVER>:<PORT> -AALT PROGPOW092 -coinalt SERO -PALT <WALLET>.<WORKER_ALT>:<PASSWORD_ALT>@<SERVER_ALT>:<IP_ALT>

Linux:
./TT-Miner -A PROGPOW092 -coin EPIC - poolinfo -luck -log -logpool -P <ACCOUNT>.<WORKER>:<PASSWORTD>@<SERVER>:<PORT> -AALT PROGPOW092 -coinalt SERO -PALT <WALLET>.<WORKER_ALT>:<PASSWORD_ALT>@<SERVER_ALT>:<IP_ALT>

If you have problems to get Multil coin mining working please DM me - I will try to help.

Downloadlink for windows & Linux:
Windows: https://TradeProject.de/download/Miner/TT-Miner.zip
Linux: https://TradeProject.de/download/Miner/TT-Miner.tar.xz

If you have any issues or crashes please let me know.

Hello, TrailingStop!

Why can't TT-miner switch between ProgPoW and Cuckoo in case of EPIC mining? In such a scenario the only switching will be needed is when EPIC switches to RandomX algo.
