I have spoken with one of the developers of this coin. This is definitely going to be one to keep an eye on, I think we can expect good things.

I have already set up a pool, 1% fee PPLNS, with a weekly giveaway. Just waiting on the green light from the dev team to open it up for pre-registrations!

I've seen your posts around before and it's the same thing over and over. You have to get a life buddy. Not every single new coin is a scam and you posting the same message in every thread isn't going to change anything. I had a brief exchange with one of the devs and it sounds like they have some cool services and whatnot they are building and have their shit together. They openly admit just releasing another coin is pretty boring on it's own (although even that isn't a "scam") but the business is what they're excited about. By your definition even bitcoin is a scam then. If that's how you feel maybe you need a new hobby? You sound like a grumpy old man who has given up on life. The simple fact that I saw this website on the Guide Channel in my hotel room in Macau leads me to believe these guys have some connections and it seems more promising than any of the other coins that have been coming out lately. I'm not betting the farm on it but I'm definitely going to give it a shot. Maybe you are right but it seems strange to immediately accuse OctoCoin of being a scamcoin when nobody knows anything about it. I'm still confused and I certainly know more than you! Only time will tell but I've made money mining early on every single new coin (even Grumpycoin - the biggest piece of crap released in months. The guy behind it probably has to wear a helmet at all times and I still turned a profit.)

I lost it there dude. But you're absolutely right, a coin is a coin, is a coin, ad nauseum, it's all in the presentation, the marketing strategy, and who you know. When I saw this one I immediately got pretty excited and after speaking with the dev I'm itching to get my pool open and see what other services spring up. I've been busting my butt this past week trying to early adopt some new coins and I've been getting stuck with failure to launch after failure to launch. I'm expecting great things from OctoCoin and I know the devs are too. See you guys on the 8th at 18:08!
