Tell my why I should support this coin over the more established cannabis-themed coins or even the other one or two planned to launch. I think it's a solid idea for the industry that might even work long term but I don't see any reason why I'd support yet another weed coin over one of the others that has more established communities and traction.
This coin isn't just to support weed, but other hemp related industries as well.

We got a new wallet to address an issue releasing today. We did find a simple problem (which existed since the beginning) with the PoS code and repaired it. This is good to go. Will update the wallet here as soon as its compiled today and update all the links. We also will release the official video today. The solo mining has been around 60K hash which is awesome for solo. Pool will be back up today with new source and we also have a new (hopefully Multipool) pool going up. We added a few extra nodes and the check pointing wallet. Feel free to email any issues or questions. dev@hempcoin.orgThanks for your support. Dev

Growing season is proof of stake not proof of work. - this means you wouldn't need mining for the growing season. Most people are solo mining hempcoin right now I'm guessing.

Over 2,000 coins today from growing season. That's awesome! I made the mistake of moving 500k coins a few weeks ago. so I'm not sure when I'll see any growing season as I'm guessing those were the first 500k I mined.. I should be seeing stake by now but the coin move screwed me. Should be hitting growing season on coins that haven't been moved shortly. I can't wait.

Over 2,000 coins today from growing season. But this coin cannot be mine anymore? No working pools.... what happened with bittrex? ... Unlike the other new pos coins that end pow in a week (ala mintcoin) this one continues pow while still producing pos on the earlier mined coins. This coin has halving block rewards after 1 year and will have a long life span. Right now is a perfect time to get into the coin because difficulty is so low. If it seems too risky for you then you can mine the other marijuana/hemp coins some days and then this one other days. I would suggest getting at least 5 full days of mining in on this coin at this low difficulty. In 1 year those 5 days might = 500 days of mining. We are going for a long term solution to the worlds needs.

This coin is missing an important feature called "coin control". This feature is on some other pos coins and lets you chose which coins to send. Coin control is actually not really needed since people obviously want to send out their newest coins. For some reason it is sending them FIFO instead of FILO. First in first out , should be set up as first in last out.

I'm getting a block roughly every 2-6 minutes. Have about 3.2MH/s pointed at the wallet.

I'm still having troubles getting the insight block explorer to work. I've posted in the main altcoin section. Will give a 0.1 BTC bounty to someone that can setup a bitcore insight networks.js file for hempcoin.
I'm hoping it isn't being extra trouble because it's POW + POS.. I know bitcore doesn't support 100% POS, But I don't see why it shouldn't be able to show the blocks for hempcoin.
Slowly learning more but figured a bounty might get someone that knows what they are doing to get me what I need faster than I can learn what I need. lol
We'll see!

Over 2,000 coins today from growing season. But this coin cannot be mine anymore? No working pools.... what happened with bittrex? ... Now it's over 3,000 today. I know the pool at thc.mine-coin.de is working. Bitters stopped trading last week when they caught a double spent. The wallet was updated after that and there is another update coming soon.

Is there a multipolar mining Hempcoin? I just watched the network hashrate jump from 45 to 85 and Bach down to 45 in a few minutes.

Anybody else getting a lot " not providing work fast enough" when solo mining ? My hashrate is also fluctuating a lot when solo mining, a single card goes from 500 to 700 kh/s when connected to the wallet. Have this only with hempcoin

finally my wallet is working! for the first 70000 blocks i had to use this config : rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 addnode=54.186.62.109 addnode=198.50.132.65 addnode=69.10.58.157 rpcport=42000 then wallet stopped to sync. after block 70000 i had to use this config : daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 addnode=54.186.62.109 addnode=88.208.236.108 addnode=198.50.132.65 addnode=69.10.58.157 rpcport=12055 now everything is working! maybe this can help some people.

"not providing work fast enough" can be solved by using a cgminer config file and specifying a second pool. So setup your first "pool" as your local wallet, then setup the second pool with one of the pools that has users hashing on it. The what happens is you longpoll through the second pool which basically notifies your wallet that the block has changed and time to move to the next one..
