my wallet wont sync, I added the .conf and the node, HELP
wallet 1.5 and hempcoin.conf like this ? rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 addnode=54.186.62.109 addnode=88.208.236.108 addnode=198.50.132.65 addnode=69.10.58.157 rpcport=12055 yep, just like that and 1.5 the hempcoin.conf is just a notepad doc with .conf right? My firewall isn't blocking anything, I've tried every .conf anyone has posted in this thread.... With any cryptocoin, you can sometimes mess up the blockchain database on your computer. If this happens the only way to fix it is by deleting everything in the %appdata% hempcoin folder except wallet.dat. You will then have to re sync this coin from the beginning. This coin is quite new so it will only take 20 minutes to get the whole blockchain downloaded. wallet.dat is your wallet. make sure to have it backed up. Tried that, nothing, I even deleted the .dat since I don't have any coins.

anyone having issues with the windows wallet on Vista 64-bit?
It seems fine until i point one of my rigs at the wallet..... then I get the following Visual C++ message:
" This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information "
so I follow the instructions and post here. :-)
I get a duplicate error messages anytime one of my miners connects to the wallet.
oddly enough when I ignore the message, the wallet stays open and I can mine blocks successfully.
As soon as I click ok (or anywhere within the wallet GUI), the wallet shuts down.
I updated my Visual C++ to the latest version and same thing happens.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

2 things I think would make this coin take big steps forward:1) We are now in spot 41 on mintpal with 2,813 votes! Next stop 5,000 votes and in the top 25 coins. This will bring a lot of interest into this coin and allow us to keep growing. Keep the votes up guys we are doing great. The new changes to mintpal voting seem to be good for us because we have lots of real voters Vote once an hour all day everyday and get as many supporters to do the same! 2) Once we are back on Bittrex, we need to draw some buying demand. If we are able to get 3 or 4 BTC daily volume, people will take notice. This is because everyone looks to Bittrex for the top 10 coins sorted by volume when they are scouting new coins. +1 +1 Keep em coming. I sometimes wish I had a simple google chrome extension to vote 14 times a day for me. I usually only get 7 votes in a day. Slow and steady wins the race. VERY interesting idea. Hemp Coin could be the first coin with browser extension to vote for you... we need something like that to shoot us into orbit

As soon as I get a new computer I go into "control panel" -> "folder options" and make sure it doesn't hide known file extension types.

Some folks were having a C++ error on the new wallet. We recompiled and this new one should fix that for those folks. It is the same link for the 1.5. We replaced it just now.
Working on the coin control now.

Since you guys(?) seem to be working on it again and I'm bored, I modified the old coin I made. The current one is just no good. It's friendly and warm for sure, but I don't think it's helping this coin's case. I'm no graphic artist but...

IMHO I can't help but look at those coin designs as very "medical" looking. Which would work great if this wasn't HEMPcoin which doesn't have much to do with the medical side of cannabis. That being said, I'm only one person and others may have a completely opposite opinion which I look forward to hearing!!

good work! tomorrow @ place 38? I love all the supporters helping each other grow this into something big! In only 2 weeks we could be in the top 25 coins on mintpal voting. Back on Bittrex as well! This coin will skyrocket quickly when it does

Is there a way to combine the cannabis leaf with the products that define hemp( oils, building materials/fibers, cloth, rope )? Great work ! I like coin logo designers

I like coin logo designers That was my original goal, just couldn't find the appropriate images that would define hemp AND work on a small scale. People weren't enjoying just the medical side of it so I went to the leaf but I agree. I'll get back to it later tonight, just going to wait on more feedback.

I do not think hemp really has a defining image. Maybe if you included the stalk of the plant and had the leaf smaller. Just an H might work. I have no idea. I like these coins: If you design both sides I can animate the coin in flash and convert it into an animated gifI think it is important to keep a little bit of the marijuana aspect to the coin just to draw in that audience. Have a secretive connection to marijuana while overall being hemp. If you want to put a persons face on the back this guy is a good choice: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Emery although he is more marijuana than hemp.

Hemp is very hippy brown bag feeling. Maybe we could incorporate the hemp rope that has been so iconically used in our history?
Might be a bad idea though, lol. See how it turns out if you have some spare time.

I found a picture that accomplishes exactly what your looking for..... I don't really like it, but hope it may poke out some ideas... PS: The site where I found it also has some interesting facts on hemp that may help with ideas too. http://www.rense.com/general49/could.htmAnyways, great progress... keep it up.
