i tried to d/l wallet for first time from none other than hempcoin.org and it is version 1.2 and will not sync with the network. i was just going to find a faucet and hang out with them... maybe dance for donations.

I just downloaded the new wallet and it's syncing fine. I think they may have forgotten to update the version number in the code.. try adding: addnode=69.10.58.157 to hempcoin.conf in C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Hempcoin make sure it's not hempcoin.conf.txt as well... See if that does the job for you. |

There hasn't been any hard forks of the coin, old wallet, new wallet, they all have the same transactions I'm thinking.. Unless I missed something. |

HempCoin asked me to make brighter colours, among other things, but I thought I'd throw it out with more intense colours.    I need something in the background that would still be identifiable at 32px, any thoughts? |

Tough to get anything in the background to be identifiable at 32px :s I think these latest versions are nice! you won't be able to see the background but you'll see the leaf which I think is ok for icon size.. My opinions of course! |

I'm jealous at how cheap you guys are buying. I'm going to have to put up a couple buy orders. I also noticed that we could move up a couple places on Mintpal if everyone votes today.
i try to vote every hour... if i am @ work i use my smartphone to vote. today we will be @ 38 i think.. going to buy some bitcoin to buy more hempcoin... maybe i will spend 0.1 btc for votes on mintpal. YAY !!! I got the lucky 3000th vote..... keep em coming guys....(n gals too... maybe) |

Hey Guys, Many of you may know who @TheRichDouche is on twitter. I had started to wonder what happened to the guy when he almost seemed to drop off twitter. He's back on a bit more now and trying to raise money so his family can get their sons Fibrosarcoma (Cancer) taken care of. It's fairly obvious to me now that he's been away from the usual twitterfest because his family is dealing with some hard times! My uncle has been living now for 3 years with brain cancer. He takes hemp/THC oil every day. It has properties that inhibit tumour growth. He does not want surgery yet since it is very risky and the tumour isn't growing in severity since taking his hemp medicine.
It may take a year for the hempcoin donations to be worth enough money for surgery. I would recommend seeing a specialist who can prescribe the proper THC oil for that type of cancer. I hope she can get the THC medicine and have it keep the cancer from further spreading/growing before they are able to get medical surgery.
