Now i'm a strong believer of Hemp, but how can i mine it? and the question is, is it not cheaper to buy it then to mine it?

If you want to mine the most profitable coin and buy THC on bittrex that would be useful. We do not have much trade volume on bittrex. It would be horrible to get de listed from that site. It is becoming a very big site and it is important to stay a part of it.

The difficulty for this coin is low so we also need people mining the coin.

Yes, buy it. It's cheaper. It would help the coin. Instead of answering and potentially helping your coin you push your pool, typical.

Developers need to be working harder than the community (we don't have one really) for the first little while. The initial attention you had is long gone, and you can't coast on nothing.
Regular info updates, road maps, actual support, etc.


Here's some sort of road map that I got out of him/her/them, hopefully it helps some of you stay committed because it's not enough for me.

We are trying to get a single vendor to take Hemp as of today. Once we get one we can say folks are using it in Colorado. Then we have writers lined up to write a professional article which we will push out to PR News. That will get picked up by most all the media. We have folks at PR News on stand by. This will catapult the coin. We are zero premine so there is no budget. The websites are ones that were made for little money. Once the coins go up we can afford to make professional pages. We need more of a community rally, forum build up and marketing folks to push the coin. Hell if you got a few minutes and can call some real Medical Marijuana (MM) vendors using weedmaps.com. We will back up the purchase of coins buy a penny per THC from the vendors. So when folks take Hempcoin in a store to buy MM, we will send them the cash @ .01 per THC coin. We simply need a picture of the Hempcoin accepted here logo posted on their door.

Potcoin is winning, the developer is active and relatively transparent. I hate the name but time to face facts, Hempcoin is dead. Now I just need to see the smokemon514's private wallet address to confirm the exact amount of premine and I'd be content.

I'll still maintain the subreddit should people use it as it's my responsibility, but no one is there.

I think we are just kind of in some sort of waiting mode right now.

ATMs are coming down in price. In 6 months they could be as cheap as $500. Once they get to that price I will buy one and see how it goes. I can probably make back the $500 and more on trading fees.

One day someone will create the first open source POW+POS android wallet. This is pretty much a requirement if you want to use the coin in a store.

PotCoin will beat us to the first punch but that is ok (you should also have lots of PotCoins). We will catch up 6 months later and pass them.

The great thing about THC is it is POS. You can take a break and earn interest.


Until ATM prices come down and an android wallet is out I do not know if there is anything the community can do. My worry is that we get de-listed from bittrex while we are waiting for these other things to happen. We might have to fake .5 BTC volume on a random day once every week. Like buy and sell to yourself.

at current price of 10 satoshis = roughly 73,000 Hemp coins

so for only $5 you get 73,000 thc

I have a wallet on one computer that is connecting 10 peers and then one on another computer that won't connect to any peers. This is weird. It is not being blocked by a firewall, the config file is the same and I even tried deleting everything except the wallet.dat file.

I figured it out. It has to do with IRC being used to find nodes and IRC banning us. (People were talking about this on the last page)

I bought THC all the way upto 50 sat because I believe it is a good coin and I felt sorry for it selling @ 6 sat, you lot simply need to buy in order for this coin to succeed, if you guy keep dumping because the price has rose a little, then I will just dump it down to 1 sat and be done with it, it's upto you?
