XRP is built on different platform and ETH built on different but they are leading Altcoin competitors and under top 10 crypt o currency in the market. Ripple is growing very fast with some unique features which ETH lacks. Ripple has achieved 2nd place in coinmarket.com one time and there is always a competion from both these coins in market. |

I think it depends on what each is meant for. For stability I will choose XRP and ICO project will choose Ether as it smart contract or investors might choose ether to fund their crypto projects.

I truly don't believe this is the case. ETH has suffered tremendous fight backs and restrictions but overall, it still stands tall in terms of adoptability and utilization. Eth held the second highest market capitalization for such a long time and only recently got overthrown by XRP. I am sure this won't last for long. Also, the value of ETH is much higher than that of XRP so it makes no sense to think XRP is better than ETH.

This reflects the current situation where ETH is struggling for quite a long, while XRP has many positive news, good marketing and many new financial partnerships.
Long term when ETH launch the Ethereum 2.0 it will take back the second position in CMC.

I think in the other people ripple is more better than the ethereum but for the most of the people we still think that ethereum is more better. Because if you notice from cents only ethereum it will up the value upto thousands of dollars.

No matter the position in CMC, I still think ETH is better than XRP.
XRP is still kinda centralised and that beats the major core feature of the blockchain and crypto in general, decentralization.
ETH is far better than XRP if you ask me.

Those are just some random rankings based on the price. The price does not always determine the potential of the coins. Do keep in mind that XRP is some what a centralized coin (large portion of the premined coins are under Ripple), thus chances of surviving on the crypto market is extremely small. Just wait for the price to stabilize, we will see the ranking of Ethereum go back to second. |

I don't think it's better, in fact, between ripple and ethereum the only thing they share is a similar market volume, Ripple, it's just gaining a lot of investors because it's really proven to be a good investment, ETH no matter how good technology it is, it can't do anything if the market doesn't have a lot of confidence, at least for now, that means a rise in its closest competitors.

no i don't agree with you, Ripple and Ethereum is better, between Ethereum and Ripple as you can see in system distributed are adopted ripple = digital payments ethereum = platform i think eth can make digital payments but, ripple can't be platform and its mean ethereum better than ripple yeah i agree with zenhu , Ripple is just payment gateway, better than Ethereum that's a platform for someone can create their own contract usin ethereum blockchain |
