If you are clever you know that gold will always be the number one paying method in the world. But there will be always some times for bitcoins
bitcoins is more for investments you know it is not really a payment method it can be used as but it is not good.
Are you kidding me.. the bitcoin is way better than gold, the bitcoin can be used for long and short terms and is a investment and also a currency. Gold is also a currency but its not very easy payable so I think its not so good for that plus its only good on long terms mostly. |

Are you kidding me.. the bitcoin is way better than gold, the bitcoin can be used for long and short terms and is a investment and also a currency. Gold is also a currency but its not very easy payable so I think its not so good for that plus its only good on long terms mostly. The OP was asking on a 10year time frame. Which makes Gold a pretty good Long term investment. Also it's much easier to get physical gold than Bitcoins in size. I am not arguing against Bitcoins but for a Long term Investor you should definitely hold both, Gold and Bitcoins. Diversification. |

Gold is always good in long term and it has already have a future, while bitcoin also good in long term but we do not have assurance that it will be last forever. But the profit on bitcoin is good as of now. |

Me either, I will going to choose bitcoin. Even it is a online currency and we can physically hold it. Bitcoin is offering a lot of services, and it is a currency itself. And I can't have gold at all so I am choosing bitcoin at all. |

But if we need to choose one, I would choose bitcoins for the flexibility of its characteristics. You can do many things with bitcoins unlike gold. As it is, you can already buy anything with bitcoins or avail of any services available. While you cannot do those with gold. |

Me either I'm going to choose rather than gold. Although I like gold too. But for me it is a very dangerous kind of thing because it can be robbed to you. And with bitcoin you can just store it with your wallet protected. |

Since bitcoin can be buy for even a small piece of it out from the whole, people mostly preferred bitcoin over gold.

Yeah exactly, bitcoin is most preferred over gold. But of course there are certain people that will still choose gold as usual. Traditional users will always prefer to invest in gold as they find it safer investment and bitcoin is still very new to them and they don't know how it works so they will prefer to stay away from it. |
