To HOLD might be the best option for 85% of investors as they think the market is already flattened enough and can't deep too further, but as for me, no coin is worth HOLDING, if you must HOLD then let it be 50% of your Asset while you take your profit for the other half when it enters for you, ... There are some basic rules that I follow while participating in the bounty campaigns. I normally sell 40% of the bounty as soon as I get the tokens in my wallets. I sell the remaining 40% within the next two to four weeks and keep the remaining 20% for long term. I have done this for more than 50 bounty campaigns, and I have to say that not a single one out of these 50 tokens gave me good returns in the long term.

Before investing in cryptocurrency we need to follow some basic rules and principles about our investment because without rules it is impossible for us to make money. We have to sell the coin only when we make a profit on our investment if we lose the value it is better to hold them patiently until you make a profit on it.

If you are going to hold it forever then there is no use of it,you have to sell it at some price if you are looking to make profits.But the startegy of when to sell can be change from different to different in your side you look for 50% then hold the remaning.

With the current market condition right now, yes i think hold is the best option for me too right now.

I'm holding my coins since january 2019 and the result is really good so far especially in this month, bitcoin price increase from $4k to $5.3k and i'm sure it will keep going up, so hold guys!

HODL is definitely a good stategy for long run. BTC is expected to be at $20k again by the end of 2019. So there is no benefit of selling at this point of time. Even govt.  Of many countries seems to have a positive attitude toward crypto economy and they would likely to have some regulations which will definitely encourage new people to jump in crypto marketmarket,  therefore market cap of crypto market will increase and so price of BTC and other alt coins will go up

I think you are optimistic quite early because this market has not shown any signs of price increase during the past 2 months. Based on my analysis, we can only hope Bitcoin can reach $ 7,000 by the end of this year because investment demand is still very low and investors panic selling is still happening every day. So the price hike will not happen this year and will take at least 20 years to fully recover. Everyone wants Bitcoin to reach $ 20,000 but looking at the chart, we are at a very bad stage and Bitcoin can return to $1,000 at any time.

No doubt, bitcoin is facing circumstances, but as you mention about bitcoin bad situation that it will return $1000. I don't think anyone think about bitcoin that in coming days bitcoin will return in $1000. Also the prediction about 2019, i do agree bitcoin will not reached in a top like $20000, perhaps at least bitcoin will touch $10000 in this year.

Actually, that is the safer and the best option a trader should do when you were stucked up and caught up with the bear market. Patiently holding will make you returned back what you have lose and make you a peace of mind that the bear trends will be over soon and bull trend will happen next. That's the basic scenario in crypto trading.

Many people bought the coins at a higher price which we cannot able to sell them for low price, so it is good to hold them as long as possible until the market starts covering because slowly we are absorbing market is recovering which it is a very good sign for the people who bought the coin at a low price and average the previous purchases in order to be in profit.

Hodling is only good for a well-established coin, but not so for coins that are just coming out of ICO, we have proven that some coins cannot stand the competition and they cannot complete setting up the platform and complete their roadmap, even if they generate enough funds for their project.

Agree, holding is good, this is why we should thoroughly check the coin that we are for holding since not all coins could develop in the market. Hold coin that is really profitable since there are some coins having no value and progress on their project.

Already established coins are not going to give you 100x or 200x returns. If you want crazy returns, then you need to pick some coin, which has just been listed. But then, you also need to know when to sell this particular coin. Most of the altcoins nowadays undergo a pump and dump cycle, and 90% of them die out once the dump is completed.

Holding must be accompanied with the target, if someone just hold their coin in an unspecified time I don't think he will get the profit he want. Look at the price in 2017 ago, an instance is ETH, when someone bought ETH at 2016 ago then he intended to hold his ETH for 3 years then he will passed the ATH in 2017 and he will meet the loss maybe if he intend to sell now. But if someone intend to hold for long term and accompanied with a target then I think he will get what he want even he will not have a much worried when the price go down drastically because he has gave a profit.

I think that if you decide so, then this is your choice. In my opinion it is necessary to hedge in such situations. Some part of promising coins can be left, but the bulk of the deposit needs to be converted to bitcoin and dollars (50/50 ratio). With such a portfolio, you will have a better chance of successfully passing through bearish time.

Depending on what you are Holding and why you are doing that I personally think that is good to hold some assets and some are just seriously terrible to hold so before keeping all tokens/coins make sure to access the situation first and then decide how to run your portfolio and then the other thing is to make sure that you are holding just one coin

A lot of things to be consider and we should be thinking that coins will have of that chances to grow otherwise we just holding for nothing in return especially those altcoin that have a low market volume. I've preferred not into long term holding rather than into short term holder cause it gives me chances to play with the market and do trading while holding it. This is to take advantage of market fluctuations.

I think it is not best only for you it is definitely useful and important for everyone to be hodl their investment because the market condition is getting better and better so if we hold our investment it will be only helpful for us to get better and better.
