We are at the same boat me too will keep holding my alts and bitcoins though my portfolio is not currently looking good where I am -83% loss and it's stressful to look at it daily. If I have some spare money I buy alts and btc even small amount to lower my buying average.

Waiting is a good option in dealing with bear market situations like this. We all cannot take quick action because of the very high risk. If you still that the cryptocurrency you are holding will bounce back in the future then patiently wait for it. It's depend on how much you want to tolerance your losses.
For example : I'm invest on crypto since 2014 when the value still $ 299/btc so my losing tolerance still none because I'm still on profit position !

Well, from my point of view you have taken a very good decision it is better to hold your coins than sell at a cheap rate. So far I can imagine the bearish market will start to rise back at the end of this month and most probably we are going to have a decent price next year.
