Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I invest in pawncoin?
We plan to be the first largest online Pawn shop with a decentralized virtual currency implemented in the payment system in order  to bridge the gap between online pawn shop and cryptocurrency community.

Who is behind Pawncoin?
We are a group of well known names here on BTT.

Both. We will be launching our own online pawnshop and working with other online pawnshop to accept Pawncoin. Within 3-6 months we should be ready for the online shop pawncoin launch. I will release the username of the software developer we plan to hire.

We didn't arrange for escrow through this account, we did with our individual account, so Tomatocage already know one of the founder of Pawncoin and we are not collecting the bitcoin from him until every IPCO has been distributed.

We plan to set a new standard in IPCO and build back the trust in the community likewise develop a coin for everyday transactions.

Look what they said on the first page: Within 3-6 months we should be ready for the online shop pawncoin launch. Now 24th of april, within one month after launch they will launch een exhange and a shop!

Really good point.  I think at times we can all get a little too demanding, when they are way ahead schedule if that was the original plan.

In order to hasten development, we are collaborating with a software development company on the pawncoin services. We are on the right track delivering what we promised and the new website will be unveiled tonight.

Any plans on getting on cryptsy?

We really, really, really need to get on Mintpal too...  I know we are all waiting on Coinpod, but regardless of that it is probably worth the BTC price to get listed on Mintpal and Cryptsy since it is such bigger exposure.

Edit:  Is my math right though that we would need 20 BTC to get to the top of Mintpal voting?  WTF?!

I dont even know anything about GDCoin? They deposited 17BTC into their voting address, that should have been spent on their website atleast

If the coin get's interesting enough with high trading volume, then Mintpal and Cryptsy will be forced to put Pawn in their exchange.

I think all of this is a result of us not promoting, which in the end I still think was the right call.  As soon as this exchange and shop open and the devs/all of us open the promotional floodgates, I think exchanges will be somewhat forced to add Pawn.

That being said..... let's keep this above 6000!

I know this is a very frivolous concern and not a priority, but could we change the text on the OP from red to a different color?  That big red wall of text just makes it look like there was something wrong.

We need to know where everybody’s from, so we could plan the right time according to GMT/UTC to buy the selling wall.

I think the best time is (GMT + 0:00) is 00.00AM
Then it’s in:
Europa around 2 AM
China around 9 AM
Australië around 11 AM
Canada around 8  PM

Sorry guys, can not be in here. My 1 BTC is already on buy orders but on lower prices. In this coin a see no reason to save it by eating expensive walls. This coin has a bright future and I am happy to have  more of it cheapest than ever, if possible.
