In the end, Dasun Shanaka is played very well, he scored 27 runs in 15 balls and Sri Lanka was able to score very well.182 runs is really very well for Sri Lanka, especially against Pakistan. I can not predict the result really at this moment . waiting to catch the position of both the team before prediction.

With all due respect to the Pakistan fans, their team is done. They are done and dusted for good. Pakistan is in dire straits and they need 10.2 runs per over with just 8 wickets in hand. Two of their best batsmen are gone (Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam). Sri Lanka is going to win this match, and they will win the series as well as they have already won the first T20 match.

If you guys check my previous posts in this thread, you will find that I had recommended betting in favor of Sri Lanka during the T20 series. Anyone who had followed my advice would have got 11x returns by now. The gambling sites had given odds of 5.50 to 6.00 for Sri Lanka. Two consecutive victories mean that anyone who had gambled in their favor would be in green by 11x to 12x.

Edit: Pakistan at 52/5 with Hasaranga taking 3 wickets in one over.

It's not in descending order and is ordered by ratings. The points seems to be increasing every match depending on the performance of the team while the rating are calculated by Points by number of matches played. So, clearly Pakistan is leading that list. Maybe the list updates only after the completion of series and Pakistan could go down after this series ends.

Surprisingly they are way far ahead from number 2 and skidding in front of number 8 and that also at their home grounds. Maybe due to no International fixtures for so long in Pakistan they themselves have forgotten how to play on their pitches   . Let's give them some time to adapt to their home conditions. Well I never expected the t20 series would turn out this way. The way Sri Lanka played in ODI Series you have to say they are playing really well.

Someone just gave some bad lucky to Imad out within minutes of your post. What sort of Witchcraft was that?? I think scoring 47 runs in the remaining three overs is next to impossible now. Moreover Asif Ali who has scored at a strike rate of just 120 will have to bat a strike rate of more than 250 to achieve this target and on the other side he is accompanied by Shadan Khan. Oh no wait. No more Shadab Khan too. It's Mohammad Aamir coming in with the ball. I hope I am able to write this post before the whole Pakistan team gets all out

At no point of time during the second innings (i.e when Pakistan was batting), the probability of win was greater than 50% for the Pakistanis. Even when Imad Wasim was smashing the bowlers all around the park, they still needed more than 12 runs per over (i.e more than 2 runs per ball). And it is not easy when half of your squad is back in the pavilion.

Once again I remind everyone that I was the only one who gave the correct suggestions for this T20I series. None of the other users thought that Sri Lanka had a chance of winning any of the T20 matches. I never imagined that Sri Lanka is going to win the series, but even before the first match was played, I had posted that SL had a very good chance of winning at least one of the three matches.

BTW, I was watching the match on Sony SIX HD, and there are frequent advertisements about the Abu Dhabi T10 league (starting from November 14th). This time they have put in a lot of funds and star power in to this tournament.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa's batting helped Sri-Lanka to get a fighting score. On the other hand, Wanindu Hasaranga comes to ball and He took three wickets in one over and make a surprise for all. Nuwan Pradeep also balled very well. Overall, it is a great win for Sri-Lanka against Pakistan today, even as well as the series too for the first time. Congratulations to Sri-Lanka.

IMO, changing (T20) captain at this stage will only further ruin the overall team performance. Sarfaraz has been one of the most successful T20 captains for the last few years, and we've got a T20 World Cup coming up next year. I believe that Misbah's decision of selecting Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad (along with Faheem Ashraf) is the core reason for this series failure. Moreover, I've noticed that the presence of Umar Akmal not only damages the team by his own pathetic performance but also damages the team by completely evolving the behavior of Babar Azam (maybe because these two are cousins?).

In this match seven players have scored a single digit while Amir was on the pitch with five runs. If this is the case how it is possible to chase 182 which is a good score in T20. With T20 only if the opening order give a  good start the end will be successful, because each runs missed will increase the run requirement per over. This will create pressure for the last order batsmen. This can be fulfilled only if the scoring is done above the requirement by the opening order players.

Somehow Sri Lanka has won the T20 series which none could've expected because of ODI series winning by Pakistan as well as Pakistan sitting on the top of the Men's T20 table.

Pakistan is still on top of the table, with 283 points. And even better, they have a good difference when compared to the second ranked side (England at 266 point). Their no.1 slot is safe even of they fail in the next 3-4 matches. What's more interesting is the fact that Sri Lanka still trails Afghanistan (229 vs 235). The two consecutive victories have helped them to overtake West Indies, who are now pushed down to no.9.

But these rankings are of little use now. The qualification process for the 2020 T20 World Cup considers ranking on January 1, 2019. At that time, Sri Lanka were ranked no.10 and West Indies were at no.9. And this means that these two teams will not get direct entry to Super 12 Round, while Afghanistan will qualify for that (as a result of their higher ranking).

BTW, it is surprising that West Indies is ranked so low, despite the fact that they have some of the best T20 players in the world.
