Hetmyer and Pollard are taking on the bowlers and just now Shami dropped a catch of Hetmyer which might be crucial because if they keep on batting line this they can even chase this score as both are powerful hitters of the ball and they are clearing the boundaries with ease, the run rate keeps on increasing if they are not able score every over and that is an advantage as the pressure keeps on building and they eventually get out because of that  .

Only danger now is pollard considering that he is feeling it as his home ground but I still think that this is quite unachievable for West Indies. Holder won't be able to do any such magic. Elwin lewis is not going to bat as he isn't fit so obviously India has won this match.

Hetmyer lost his wicket and it will not be easy for them as they need to score over 15 runs per over from this stage and it is not an easy target as you are under pressure to score boundaries every couple of deliveries and it is not a happy task for any batsman and India scored an impossible target to chase, if not i am sure West Indies would have chased that down. India will pick up wickets or they will smash all the balls and the fielders must be really active to take those catches too.

They lost the match by a massive margin (67 runs). It is equivalent to losing an ODI match by more than 100 runs. Throughout the series, the West Indies bowlers looked outclassed. A lot was said about Jason Holder and Hayden Walsh, but both these bowlers fared miserably. Only Sheldon Cottrell could contain the Indian batsmen to an extent, but he was also smashed all around the ground during the 3rd match.

Bolded words are the key point,yes better team will win the match and trophy no matter if they lacks better players because cricket is not an individual game its a team effort so everyone have to perform to win the match.Kohli turns his anger to runs which is quite interesting to watch after that kind of run scored I knew west indies will fall short of much and that is actually happened at the end.

Just admit it. West Indies is several levels below India and in reality it was a David vs Goliath match. Some of the star West Indian batsmen are not playing in this series, but all of their mainstream bowlers were present in the squad (Sheldon Cottrell, Jason Holder, Khary Pierre and Kesrick Williams). Even if they had players such as Andre Russell and Andre Fletcher, I don't think that the outcome could have been any different, given the huge total that India managed to build.

Eventually India won and that's what counts but if it were someone like Australia or England then we don't have a chance with such bowling unit but I think India are also not gonna keep the same lineup against them as well.

Overall it was a good series. Can't wait for the entertainment packed in the ODI series now.

I placed a small bet on team India to win because I was confident they would not loose the series, but I became nervous when they were asked to bat as I felt team India may not be able to post a competitive total. However India’s batman rallied and posted a monstrous total, which was always going to be difficult to chase even for the West Indies hard hitters. @Avirunes you’re correct for teams like Australia and England we will have to field a stronger team, but this series gave lots of exposure to other players too which is required to help them grow in international cricket.

This time WI could not match the Indian batting and could not chase the huge score of 241 which is quite big to chase in T20. Indian batsman and bowlers both did excellent job and Kohli quickfire 90 made more difference to the game .

Yes Kohli has done great finish at the end he scored 70 runs for 29 balls with 7 6s and 4 4s it will help to 241 runs but the partnership between Rohit and Rahul excellent and bowler also done the excellent job to take quick wickets in first 6 overs.

Without Bhumra the bolling attack does not seem that much great. The batting card is great but India should look at the bowling department. Even the spinners are having difficulty to bowl as well. Another concern is Risav Pant, India should find the replacement for him. I don't  think that Dhoni is going to play in the T20 worldcup.

I can't agree with your post. India right now has one of the strongest bowling attacks for any of the teams, and the bowlers have performed even in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. Don't you remember what happened when South Africa visited India? The maximum number of wickets were taken by Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav.

I am sure you are talking about your own experience when you were a kid that you prefer to bat rather than to bowl and so does majority of the kids but when you look at the current Indian team they have the best bowling line up, in T20 they might go for runs and they have the batsman to back the bowlers and the last match against West Indies was a prime example.
