A few Australian players have left India on "personal reasons" but I think it has something to do with the rising cases of COVID in India. I am honestly not sure how him withdrawing from IPL will protect the family. I'm sure players are under strict conditions and being monitored. The only reason I can think of is his wife (And kids) are with him in the Bio-Bubble and are uncomfortable to stay in the Bubble and he had to choose to either come out of the bubble with the family or stay and he chose to get out.

I did not notice the Australian player leaving the IPL, who all left due to personal reasons, you cannot blame anyone to withdraw from the competition as life and health is more important than money and during stressful situation like these seeing huge death counts in India is saddening. Pat Cummins  also donated $50k as charity for the problem stricken poor people in India and i do not even know whether it is safe or even on moral grounds to conduct a tournament like this.

Condition of Chennai is not too far away to reach the other wise cities and its almost 10K cases per day is getting recorded at Chennai fr the past few days so I guess their family members got affected that is why he is leaving the team to be with them which is confirmed by the some of the reputed news sources as well.

RCB vs DC, good contest is going on at the moment for the table topper, new inclusion Rajan Paditar been impressive until now. At the end of 14th over RCB scored 105/3.

In short extra runs is the runs added to the score board without the batsman scoring the run , No balls (over stepping at the bowlers end), Byes (usually wicket keeper missing the ball) and Leg byes ( both are not score from the bat) and Wide . Then there is a penalty extra 5 runs is added if the ball hit the helmet placed by the fielder, usually behind the keeper.

People I still have questions ... I won a 21x bet but still don't understand how the scoring is done. I have not found any statistical sites that could answer my questions, so I am writing here, (perhaps Indian cricket is just not for me lol, but nevertheless the odds are pretty attractive). In cricket Wide ball-No ball-Byes are counts as extra runs or extras.

In shorter format of game which is T-20 overs (the one you're betting), there are less chance of bowling team handing out 21 extras to batting team in single inning. I mean bowling team need to bowl really shit in that particular match to give away so many extras. But if its for full match then its completely possible that both teams could give away that much extra runs together.

* There are total 3 formats.
Tests (5 days, maximum 450 overs)
ODI (50 overs each team, total 100 overs)
T-20( 20 overs each team, total 40 overs)

Even Rishabh Pant could not save Delhi from drowning in this match. It was a heart throbbing match and all of the RCB fans like me were on our toes. Still I would give more credits to Siraj because it is not easy to bowl in the death overs. Am happy as my bet won and RCB didn't got into a loosing streak.

We can't take luck into this match, because best players are on the pitch. There is no big wicket loss, in between they missed the run rate which is the reason for the rise in pressure by the end of the game. As there is no big wicket fall they could've maintained the run rate. During the last five overs the performance was really awesome, but something missed. This will be a learning for Delhi Capitals.

Also DC's last over when they were bowling can be a reason as well, it was very exciting to watch but at the end they couldn't make it. Now again RCB is on the top of the table so tomorrow there will be a chance for CSK to grab that position again from RCB if they manage to win against SRH.

When someone takes the responsibility to be a captain then their natural gameplay actually changes a lot, if Pant is not captaining for DC today then I am sure that he can hit more big shots.

I don't understand why Rishabh Pant went for Stoinis, because Amit Mishra had one over left. It was poor planning from his part, to bowl out the pacers early in the innings. Ideally Kagiso Rabada or Avesh Khan should have bowled the 20th over instead of Stoinis, but they were bowled out early.

SRH won the toos but surprisingly choose to bat first when the forecast says chance of dew at the second innings. But CSK bowled really well at the moment, after 9 overe SRH scored only 59 for the loss of 1 wicket.

Rahane is not really T20 material and although Hetmeyer produced a really good performance in the last match, he is not in his best form. IMO, Delhi Capitals are struggling due to the absence of Shreyas Iyer. They are still unable to fill the vacuum created due to his absence. Steven Smith is now batting at no.3 for Delhi Capitals, and he is OK as far as performance is concerned, but his strike rate is a bit lower than what is optimal.
