You're right, the pitch is not batting-friendly. The batsmen of both teams are having a hard time collecting runs. However, the Australian management is very experienced. They know very well what kind of team needs to be formed in which condition.

If the Australian management was experienced they would not mess up like this in the first match and the way in which they messed up against an inexperienced Indian team says a lot about the experience of the selectors and team management. So i am not going in that route .

The problem here is that they think the Bangladesh team is a very weak opponent, and have not done their homework properly on Bangladeshi players. As a result, the Australian bowlers are not able to succeed even against inexperienced players.

If the Australian players or the selectors thought that touring Bangladesh was easy then they messed up their plan which clearly shows their lack of experience because Bangladesh is always strong when they are playing at home.

Will you call Pakistan lucky to have won the T20 series against West Indies ? It was disappointment to see that three our of four T20 matches wouldn't be possible because of the rain.

If you ask me, i cannot say that Pakistan was the better team than West Indies. We cannot judge the performance by only one match.  In the last two matches West Indies started well by quickly making 15 and 20 runs but then the rain interrupted the match.
Now i hope that we have full test series between the two countries without any interruption of rain.

Before the series started we thought we would watch a one-sided series. We are watching a one-sided series, but not one-sided from the Australian side. We are seeing a new form of Bangladesh. However, it is not that Bangladesh is playing very well. I think the Australian squad is weaker. Apart from Marsh and Henriques, no other Australian player has been able to score properly. We have never seen such a weak batting lineup in Australia.

Who is responsible for this poor batting performance of Australian team? Obviously their team management. Because they haven't made a perfect squad by taking Bangladesh team as lightly. Everything changes in the evolution of time, Bangladesh is becoming better and better day by day especially when they are playing at home. It's tough for both sides getting runs but good bowling surface. Bangladesh team combination looks very promising, now leading the series by 2-0 against Australia. I wish Australia learnt their lesson, and do their homework.

Did anyone made a bet in favor of Bangladesh for the first two matches? No one really expected them to go 2-0 up against Australia. The results are just shocking. Two consecutive defeats for a big three team against one of the minnows among the test nations. But the hints were already there. Australia's series defeat (4-1) against West Indies showed that the players are not in good form. Their batting is horrible, and their bowling is getting worse with each passing day. They badly needs the experienced players such as Cummins and Smith.

Yeah, Bangladesh is always a strong team on their home ground. The Bangladesh team has proved this many times. At the Mirpur Stadium, Bangladesh always performed to the surprise of everyone. Australia should have understood this thing. Their squad needed to be strengthened. With 3 more matches left, let's see how the Australian team performs.

Bangladesh on the other hand is still struggling at the no.10 position, just ahead of Zimbabwe. For Australia, the ranking in both ODI and the test formats are much better than what they have in T20I (#3 in both cases), and this means that their issue is specific to the shorter format. Maybe, rather than blaming the players it is time to look in to the team composition and strategy?

The question is who will score the runs. Players like Matthew Wade have been in pathetic form since ages, and yet manage to find a slot in the playing XI somehow. Apart from Mitchell Marsh, there is no other consistent performer in the current team. Josh Philippe and Alex Carey are players who have performed well in various franchise leagues. However, when it comes to international cricket, they underperform on a regular basis. Australia needs a complete revamp of the current T20 squad, probably by infusing fresh talent.

Australia might win a match or two in the series but they are not going to win the next three match and win the series. I am a bit surprised with the performance from Australia but that is what you should expect when a steam is playing according to their strength in their home grounds while the touring Australians is finding it difficult to perform as a team. For now, the BCCI has imposed a ban on non-Indian players and restrictions on players registered outside the state from participating in such leagues. But if 2 overseas players can be included in each team, then I have a feeling that it will attract worldwide viewership and increase the quality of the matches. The BCCI don't want to do that, because they believe that such measures will dilute the viewership of the IPL. IMO, this is baseless thinking. IPL is not going to get impacted by state level leagues such as TNPL and KPL.

@Visnu.Reang BCCI are thinking from the long term view because today it’s 2 tomorrow it’ll be 4 player’s plus advertisers will pay less for this league and get better ROI, and they’ll reduce their ad spend on IPL.

Furthermore as much as I love cricket there’s a time when I quit watching it as I have watched to many matches back to back, and therefore BCCI rightly fears if these state leagues get popular then it’ll harm their money making chance from IPL.

What's wrong with Australia? I have been losing my bets  Despite being a Bangladeshi supporter, I had placed bet on Australia in both match and lost both of them. Soumya Sarkar has collected 4 runs in 3 matches. Tamim Iqbal's absence is now well understood by the Bangladesh team. Mohammad Naim is Inexperienced, Soumya should have batted responsibly. He has batted badly in all three matches. At the end of the power play, Bangladesh's collection is 28/2.

Bangladesh lost 3 wickets at the end of 10 overs and able to collect 60. The run rate is 6.00. Not bad at all. If they won't lose any wicket on the next 4/5 over, I hope they will be able to give Australia a target of more than 135 runs. If Bangladesh can collect 135/140 runs, maybe they will win this match too. Because Bangladesh bowlers are bowling well on the pitch.
