This could've been a good match to watch as the scores were very close at the end. What a match Qatar won by just 1 run. Kuwat chasing down the target all out in 155 runs in 20 overs unfortunately missed his win by 1 run. Ravija Sandaruwan from Kuwait played a beautiful inning of 43 runs in just 29 balls. Credit goes to Qatar bowlers Muhammad Murad who picked 2 wickets by giving 31 runs in 4 overs, and Himanshu Rathod also picked 2 wickets by giving 18 runs in 3 overs alongside Adnan Mirza who picked 3 crucial wickets. The player of the match is Adnan Mirza Ali for his amazing all round performance scored 30 runs in 23 balls and also picked 3 important wickets by just giving 20 runs in 4 overs and helped his team to this amazing victory.

Rizwan Butt bowled well, picking up 4 important wickets. If Saudi Arabia could have given 130+ targets then Saudi Arabia could have won the match. A target of just 111 runs is a very low target in T20 format, 111 runs can be easily won in just 120 balls. With a target of 111 runs, Bahrain went into bat and collected 114 runs in 18.5 overs, winning by 6 wickets. Congratulations to the Bahrain team.

The 8th Match of the Gulf T20i Championship between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain was played yesterday. Bahrain won this match by 6 wickets amazing victory. Saudi Arabia after winning the toss decided to bat first but was unable to put a decent total on board. Saudi Arabia all Out in 110 runs in 18.4 overs. Abdul Manan Ali from Saudi Arabia played a brilliant inning of 49 runs in 37 balls while other batters didn't perform well. Bahrain Chase down the small target 114 runs in a loss of 4 wickets in the 19th over. Junaid Aziz score unbeaten 39 runs and imran ali butt also score 39 runs unbeaten and sealed victory for his team. Rizwan Butt is the player of the match for his outstanding bowling spell picked up 4 crucial wickets by just giving 24 runs in 4 overs. This is a confidence boost victory for Bahrain.

In that case, ICC needs to be strict as to which players can be included in a national team and which they cannot include. I think only the nationals should be included in the team where they are native or have a permanent visa /Nationality.

If you just start to include other countries' players by offering them high incentives, this may lead to a bad trend. The rich Gulf countries can even hire the best of the best crickets from the Asian regions (India / Pakistan / Bangladesh / Afghanistan) and they have the money to give them better salaries and incentives.

ICC should have a clear vision on this.

There is Tri-Nation T20I Series started today in Malaysia between Hong Kong, PNG and Malaysia. First match was played today between Malaysia and Hong Kong which was won quite easily by Malaysia. Hong Kong won the toss and elected to field first. Malaysia got full use of batting first and gave a target of 182 runs which was easily defended by there bowling lineup. The real competition will be between Malaysia and PNG. I don't think Hong kong team has the ability to fight with teams like Malaysia and PNG.
