I am waiting for this series by the way. In my point of view these matches will be interested. And this series will be started tomorrow. These two teams will play their first T20 match Tarouba. They have finished their ODI series India won the series. And in the coming T20 series both teams will try to their best to win. So let's see who will win this series.

West Indies vs India
 Today's 1st T20 match of the team is going to start shortly.Brian Lara Stadium Tarouba,
 The match will be played in Trinidad. It is not yet clear which team will win the T20 match today. But I will bet in support of India team in today's match. I think if the players of India team can play well then India team will have a big chance to win this match. West Indies  Everyone knows that the players of the team are very strong, but today it seems that we can enjoy a very good match between the two teams.

Statistics are generally not useful in T20 matches as T20 is very much a shot off version game where statistics or performance or past records are all proven wrong if the opposing team can perform well on the field. If one to two batsmen can do well in T20 cricket, then no batsman is needed, both of them can turn the turn of the match in any direction. Statistically West Indies are a bit weaker team than India at present but if a West Indies batsman plays a crazy innings then all our statistics can be proved wrong. The first T20 match between West Indies vs India is going to be a very interesting T20 match for us, anything can happen in this match. I don't want to bet on any team in the first match and will think about betting from the second match.

India always perform very well in cricket game so I think like always India will play very well against West Indies and they have chances to win the match. West Indies started batting first and their opening performance looks very good and they can collect good runs 15 runs in 1.4 overs is not a bad score. If West Indies continue to play like this for the entire 20 overs, they can score above 180 runs.  But even this target will not be too challenging for India.  So if West Indies don't have a big luck then it is not possible for West Indies to win normally with India

Kyle Mayers was dismissed for 1 run off 7 balls. Brandon King was dismissed for 28 runs off 19 balls.

Yeh both team are well balanced, I thing under estimating west indies in T20 format will be a big mistake for any team because they have history of brutally beating big teams because they love power hitting and especially they are made for such short format.
Now they lose four of his top important wickets by scoring 114 still they have five more over to make some big target, even thier bowler can smashed big bowler because of thier body structure and strength, hope we will see some heating innings for west indies side in last few overs, currently predicting win of any team doesn't make sense.

Not a bad effort from Indian bowlers, considering the way Brandon King started his inning. Pooran was also going wild before he slowed down. From the Indian point of view, they gave 10-ish runs extra when Powell got a lifeline but still a nice effort from the bowling unit.

The Windies should be disappointed, they wasted middle and death overs and possibly 15-20 runs short here.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are at the crease now. It looks like a difficult pitch to bat, and India now need more than 8 runs per over. That said, India has the depth in batting, with Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson to come next. But they need to make sure that the required run rate remains under tolerable limits. And for that the Indian batsmen need to take singles.

India have not decided to field after batting today And West Indies batting. West Indies put up an outstanding batting performance in today's T20I match and scored 149 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. West Indies batting performance was good today they scored runs they can win if they can have good bowling performance now. India have already lost their 2 wickets while batting which is under pressure for Indian batsmen at the moment. If India can't put up a good batting performance today, they will never be able to match the West Indies. They are under a lot of pressure after losing two wickets in a row so they will have to play for wickets if they are to win the match. At the moment India have collected 28 runs in 5 overs and lost 2 wickets they still need to score 122 runs in 90 balls to win, not too many runs if batting well surely Paro can win easily.

I am certainly hoping to see some good upset matches being made in this World Cup. remember when the last time a lot of teams competed in the World Cup? It was the 2007 ODI World Cup. And a lot of things that are really weak in power were actually able to beat some very powerful teams in the World Cup. So I am expecting something like that to happen in this World Cup as well. I am not saying every match is going to be competitive.

There is a flip side to the 2007 ODI World Cup, it was one of the most boring World Cup in history and a long one, yes there were upsets and the ICC banned music and they did their best to kill the joy and Pakistan's coach died of mysterious situation and it was really un uneventful tournament .

There are a lot of cricket fans in the United States, but hardly anyone among them support the US national team. All of them are supporters of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies.etc. The market is there, but it is useless to assume that including the US team in ICC competitions would make a difference. 

Majority of the fans in the stadium's might be Asian's but there are people from Europe and US that are new to the sport and interested in watching the matches, even during the recent FIFA World Cup there were a lot of new fans from the US travelling to Saudi to watch the match, so we can expect some of the fans turning up when the tournament is conducted in the US.

It seems that their partnership will be 100 plus. Tilak Varma in particular is batting brilliantly scoring 31 runs off 16 balls. Now India need to score 84 runs off 66 balls as India have wickets in hand. With good batsmen, it is hoped that India can meet the target of 149 runs given by West Indies.

They are under a lot of pressure after losing two wickets in a row so they will have to play for wickets if they are to win the match. Just like I mentioned before that west indies love such format and they has ability to beat any big team and they almost done it because India didn't took them seriously and results is so horrible, India can make it because they have strong lineup but unfortunately due to quick dismissal of top order they can't manage to chasedown required target,
No doubt the young Varma done a good job during tough situation but the rest of the player done really disappointed job, at one stage when A.Singh were on a crease I taught he will be the game changer but unfortunately after few important shots he got dismissed too and thus India lose his second match of his tour. Hope they will learn from his mistakes and will not repeat it again

Once after the innings of West Indies thought 149 an easy target for India. The end result of the match is really disappointing and completely unexpected. West Indies have won the match by 4 runs and India was able to score 145/9 in 20 overs. The middle order somehow managed to stand wicket, but that hadn't lasted till the end. No solid performance other than Tilak Varma scoring 39 runs from 22 balls. West Indies team needs to be appreciated to defend with such a low score. Hope this series would be a win for West Indies if India continues to play this way and this is the outcome of over confidence.

West Indies excelled in the Mandatory Powerplay against India although West Indies lost two wickets in the Powerplay but managed to collect 54 runs in the first 0.1-6.0 overs. But India lost two wickets in the powerplay but scored 9 runs less than West Indies.
All India's batsmen batted with a balance of runs and balls except Tilak Verma 39(22) and all other batsmen failed to score more runs than balls.
Kuldeep Yadav's dismissal for three runs off 3(9) at a crucial point in the innings was enough to defeat the match. Here some important mistakes by India led to a four-run defeat against the West Indies even on a small run target.

This was quite surprising. I did not think that the west indies would be able to win this match. The performance from India was quite horrible. They were not able to form any good partnership. Tilak Verma who was the only one who played decent enough for India. Hardik Pandya was playing well. But he lost his composure and tried to play a big shot. Also ended up losing his wicket. If he could have been able to stay there till the end, he could have won the match for India for sure. In the end, India lost the match by four wickets.

I think it's not good that India lost today. Not good for their morale. Remember this is sort of India backup team which is playing and we are testing our bench strength, not being able to chase a target of meagre 149 obviously isn't something you want. IMO when you are testing your bench strength and second string team then there is no need to panic. It's 5 T-20 match series so plenty of time to bounce back.

Also, it wasn't a one sided affair but yeah if Windies really dominate this Indian side in the upcoming matches then ofc we can talk about the morale and other stuff.
