Anyone following the Caribbean Premier League? Final match will be played tomorrow, between Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors. TKR have heavyweights such as Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Martin Guptill playing for them. Guyana is mostly dependent on Dwaine Pretorius for bowling and Shai Hope for batting. Both the champions and runners up from last year's tournament failed to qualify for the final this time (Jamaica Tallawahs and Barbados Royals respectively).

I thought that the United Arab Emirates was a better team as compared to the Oman. In the pool stage too, the United Arab Emirates topped with 8 points. But in this match, Oman remain dominant in the match. First, they did not let the UAE team run away with a lot of first innings runs.

UAE batters batting well Muhammad Waseem scored 46 runs and Asif khan 38 runs but didn't get a big target for Omen. Oman batting and bowling performance is outstanding. The player of the match is Aqib ilyas for his amazing all-round performance scored 67 runs in just 33 balls and played an important role in Omam victory for his aggressive batting performance. Aqib ilyas also picked 2 Crucial wickets by giving 23 runs in 3 overs.

Oman finished the game as the WINNER and they really outplayed the UAE team today.

The Batting performance of Oman was very impressive especially Aqib ilyas who scored 67 and Ayan Khan also played very well and scored a well deserved half century of 53 runs unbeaten in just 38 balls and won match for his team. Congratulations to Oman for 5 wickets well-deserved victory against UAE.

The final will be love on Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 1 HD. You can also watch it live on Fancode. The match will start tomorrow at 4:30am IST, so for Asian viewers, the time is not that convenient. Also, Monday is a working day. This time the organizers didn't gave much attention to the Indian fans, although a large part of the revenue originates from here. Anyway, nowadays there are too many franchise T20 leagues ongoing around the world and therefore they can't get overdependent on the Indian audience as well.

In the other Semi final, the Pakistan women team scored only 79 runs. This was a poor display of batting by the Pakistan girls. Shawaal Zulfiqar made 16 runs and that was the highest score for the Pakistan team. Udeshika Prabodhani took 3 wickets and Kavisha Dilhari took 2 wickets, the bowlers destroyed their bating completely.

Srilanka women should easily win this semi final unless we see another batting collapse which I don't think will happen. They had already scored 24 runs and lost the wicket of their captain Chamari Athapaththu.

Semifinal  India woman vs Bangladesh woman has been completed.India woman beat Bangladesh woman to enter final and guarantee themselves of at least a silver medal. Pooja Vastrakar finished with 4 overs in 17 runs,  while Titas Sadhu, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Amanjot Kaur and Devika Vaidya picked up a wicket each to bowl Bangladesh Women out for 51, their lowest WT20I total against India Women. In reply, India knocked down the target in 8.2 overs to enter the final and assure themselves of at least a silve medal, despite losing openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Varma.

Really didn't think that this match was going to be so one sided.  I thought Pakistan women were going to give a good battle to the Sri Lankan women in this semi final. But Pakistan women were not able to get a good score. It doesn't matter which team you are playing against,  75 is never going to be a good target to defend. Or maybe it was 76 is the same thing. Women should have done better in the first innings because after they had given such a small target, there was no way they were actually going to defend that target successfully. At the same time congratulations to the Sri Lankan women. They definitely did very well in this match.

Unfortunately, they did not perform as well as in previous matches and disqualified from the final. Sri Lanka Women won this semi final match by 6 wicket with 25 balls left. Pakistan Women set a very low target of only 75 run in 20 overs and losing 7 wickets. Batting performance was disappointing and also no player score more than 20 runs. Interesting part of this series is that there is Mongolia Women team that played two matches. In there game against Indonesia, Mongolia women just scored 15 runs in 10 overs while in there second game against Hong Kong they scored 22 runs in 15 overs. None of there player was able to make it to double figures in both games. Lets see whether its India or SL who take gold in this category.

Pak-W were able to score only 75 runs in 20 overs and that was easily chased by SL-W in 17th over by losing just 4 wickets. It's true that Pakistani women team didn't show any resistance against thier opponent team and quickly lose all of his important wickets, which is really disappointing for each and every fan because recently they have home t20 series against a tough team like south Africa but they smashed them very easily without any hesitation and we taught they will delivered same results, but I don't know what exactly happened to them at such competition, I think they can't handle pressure at such a big stage and that's why they unable to perform, 75 runs in 20 over is not enough to defend at all, they were 40 to 50 runs behind because if they scored above 110 them definitely things will be in thier hand but unfortunately they can't and lose and opportunity to the final.

Interesting part of this series is that there is Mongolia Women team that played two matches. In there game against Indonesia, Mongolia women just scored 15 runs in 10 overs while in there second game against Hong Kong they scored 22 runs in 15 overs. None of there player was able to make it to double figures in both games. Lets see whether its India or SL who take gold in this category.

Looks like inclusivity by calling teams that are terrible than school teams and we see some record breaking performance from Mongolia and there were some terrible performance from other teams as well.

India is the strongest team and Sri Lanka needs to come up with some magical performance to upset and win the gold like they did last year when their captain Chamari Athapaththu took the Indian bowlers apart and won the game for them.
