The main issue with Pakistan is there inconsistent performance. They lost this series 4-1 but that doesn't mean there upcoming world cup journey is over. Finally Pakistan team got their desired win after long wait. In the fifth T20 match, Pakistan bowlers bowled brilliantly and their part-time bowler Iftekhar Ahmed gave an incredible performance in this match. Iftekhar Ahmed took three wickets with 34 runs in four overs and Shahensha Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz took two wickets each.

Although Pakistan won this match, they could not bat as expected their batting performance did not improve. Apart from Mohammad Rizwan and Faqar Zaman, none of the pakistan team managed to score 30 plus runs. As T20 World Cup is about to start, all Pakistani players need to improve their batting performance otherwise they will continue to play poorly in T20 World Cup.

If Pakistan squad had displayed today match performance in previous matches of this competition and surely Pakistan squad would have won some of those matches and also win this competition. Pakistan squad lost this competition with four matches and Pakistan just emerged victory in one match. The question was that Why New Zealand squad lost this today match. At the beginning of this match, Pakistan squad has begun this match first batting inning and their performance in their inning was very fantastic but in bowling inning was too much impressive then batting inning. First two starter batters of New Zealand squad was unable to display actual performance Finn Allen was cleared out when he collected 21 scores and other starter batter Rachin Ravindra was bowled for only one score. Some more batter like Glenn Phillips and Will Young performance was also very bad.

If Pakistan bowlers were able to win the match for them in Christchurch today, this does not mean that they should have won all the previous matches too. New Zealand were the better team in this series and they truly deserve this win.

This is their format and they can dominate almost everyone in T-20 format. With new batting talent coming in, which is suited for t-20, mix it with experienced batters. Well, let's be honest. We all know how they reached the finals. It's utterly shameful to take the cover of kudrat ka nimaj when team is good.

IMO they underperform in the T-20 despite having excellent combinations. They might be shit in other formats but in T-20 Pakistan can potentially field 2 competetive teams.  There is more than enough talent in the country for the T-20 format. They only have to avoid favoritism, politics and give importance to merits, also stop dehumanizing and listen to players' needs (Rauf).

And I have to say they have played really well in the last match. Did not look anything like the first four matches that they have played.

And yes I absolutely agree that the biggest problem for Pakistan right now is the inconsistency. If Pakistan was more consistent, they could have had a far better result in the world cup as well. Even in the world cup, we saw Pakistan being very inconsistent. A problem for Pakistan is that the squad that they have is really not very reliable.  It is not certain that if the star player fails, the others will rise up to the occasion.

Yeah, Pakistan do the best in the last match after losing four matches consistently. I did not understand why the team did not get a single match except this last match. Pakistan's team is unpredictable no one can predict their next move sometimes they are too good and sometimes they have their worst performance. In the 5 matches what I got is that in one match they were very close to the win but they also lost that match and in the rest of the matches there was a small margin between them. The New Zealand team is also not weak they may be stronger than the PAK team and in this t20 match, they played well and deserved this win.

Finally Pakistan team got their desired win after long wait. The New Zealand team won by dominating the first 4 matches. New Zealand players performed well and won every match. Both Pakistan's batting and bowling were quite weak. So it is not a shame that New Zealand lost the last match.

We did not see a good performance from the Pakistani batsmen in the last match as well. They gave a target of only 135 runs. But they won because of controlled bowling by the bowlers. Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz picked up two wickets each. And Iftikhar Ahmed managed to pick up 3 wickets. If the Pakistani bowlers had been able to bowl so well in the previous matches, Pakistan would not have lost the series so badly.

I never have any doubt in New Zealand team and their quality but sadly injuries having always big impact on their performance in big events, and mostly they lost like crap even they are mostly having good performance at home in bilateral series but big events and away series having never been ideal end for them which needs to be fixed now they completely thrash Pakistan at home before world cup which is giving them good booster but now IPL is surely having some issues as their many players are involved and this can bring changes.

If they have no problem then surely they are going to be in last four for this coming event because their preparation is good, and they are having good players which can give them wins against any team in this format.

Yes you are right injuries have affected the New Zealand team. It is not good that they have a hard time when they play in other countries or in big tournaments even they usually do well in games against one other team at home. But, they did really well against Pakistan before the World Cup. You also right  here that some of the New Zealand players will play in the IPL which might make things a bit harder for them. But I think they have prepared well and have talented players so they should do well in the upcoming event.

Durdanto Dhaka failed to give enough runs target which resulted in defeat in the end. Had Dhaka been able to target 160+ runs, they would have had a chance to win. Dhaka's top order batsmen all failed. 137 off 120 balls was very easy, so Chattogram Challengers won easily. Tanzid Hasan batted very well and got out for 49 runs, unfortunately he could not complete his half century. However, if Shahadat Hossain batted a little better, Chattogram Challengers could have won more easily. Najibullah Zadran did well in the finish, he was unbeaten on 32 off 19 balls to give the team victory.
