Two very important T20 matches are going to start in the next few minutes. In the first match, Multan Sultans will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League. The match will take place at the National Stadium in Karachi. Second match is between United Arab Emirates and Scotland, to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. PSL qualifier is perhaps the more important one out of these two. The match is going to be even-sided. I don't have much faith on the UAE and Scotland is likely to win the match easily.

In the PSL qualifier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to bat first. Both the teams are very well balanced. I think Peshawar's bowling is weak and they should compensate for this by making an extra 20 or 30 runs. If Multan gets the wicket of Babar and Saim early in the inning, things will get difficult for Peshawar because the middle order of Zalmi is not performing up to their potential. If Peshawar gets to a total of 180 or above, they have a chance to win the match comfortably. If Peshawar gets the wickets of Usman Khan and Johnson Charles early, Multan won't be able to chase down the target because of qualifier pressure.

Multan Sultans team has lost only 3 matches this season, but interestingly, they lost both of those matches against Peshawar Zalmi. Zalmi won the first match by 5 runs and Zalmi won the second match by just 4 runs. And in today's match also Zalmi won the toss and decided to bat. As Zalmi won by batting first in the last two matches against Multan Sultans.



But Peshawar Zalmi couldn't start well today, Peshawar Zalmi lost the wicket of Saim Ayub in the first over. Ayub returned to the dressing room after collecting only 1 run. After 3 overs Peshawar Zalmi collected 24 runs. Babar Azam and Mohammad Haris are batting now. Both are experienced batsmen of Pakistan national team. The previous day we discussed the second match between UAE and Scotland, today we are going to discuss the third i.e. the last T20 match between these two teams. We saw that in the second T20 match UAE wanted to bat with the target, which is why they sent Scotland in to bat first. Scotland did not score many runs in that match but they defeated the UAE by just nine runs due to their brilliant bowling performance which leveled the series 1-1.

Well I taught it gona be tough match and United arab emirates will show thier strength but unfortunately they really gonna this important match, to be honest I am really shocked with UAE performance because they lose eighth wicket on 48 runs with a 5 golden duck 🦆 (OMG) dismissal and the more important batters from thier lineup giveaway his wickets before adding significant contribution which is quite disappointed, this defeat will not only damage them in current match but in entire series because thier opponent Scotland will get dominance over them after got victory and will take a lead by 2-1. Anyway UAE should work on Thier weak zone inorder to level thier opponent and survive in cricket world

If a could get 60 with the same amount of balls it could have created a butterfly effect with which they could have ended up getting a bigger score. But that did not happen. Yes you are right Peshawar Zalmi didn't do well in batting during last match. When Saim Ayub got out earlier it really affected team. Saim Ayub was good in previous matches especially in beginning of match. Pitch conditions were tough which made it hard for good batters to score much runs. By the way it will be interesting to see if Peshawar Zalmi will come back and reach final to play against Multan again. So let's see.

United Arab Emirates won the first T20I to take the series, but Scotland won the second T20I by nine runs to level the series at 1-1. Although the target was 122 runs for UAE, they could not chase down this easy target to win. Against Scotland, the United Arab Emirates were bowled out for just 112 runs, which resulted in the defeat of the United Arab Emirates after coming very close to winning this match. The third and final T20 match of the series is the final match and series decider for the two teams. The team that wins the last match will win the T20 series.

In my point of view the United Arab Emirates missed a great opportunity to win the T20 series against Scotland by failing to chase down a relatively low target of 122 runs. It was really disappointing to see them fall short in such a crucial match after coming so close to victory. And in the final match I really hope they will bounce back and try to win the series.  They should learn from their mistakes and should come back stronger in the final match.

Scotland scored 90 plus runs against UAE in the first innings and got all out at that time it seemed that UAE would win easily but in the second innings we saw the opposite. We haven't seen a better performance from Captain Mohammad Rizwan, but Yasir Khan and Usman Khan have batted well in this match. Opener Yasir was unbeaten with 54 runs off 37 balls and Usman 36 runs.

However, Peshawar Zalmi still have a chance to qualify for the finals. The Eliminator 2 match will be held tomorrow. I think we will see Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi match again in the final.

What surprised me the most was that seven batsmen from the United Arab Emirates team scored zero runs. These seven batsmen could not collect a run in any way and if they performed like this, they were all out for only 62 runs. I never expected this kind of performance from these two teams since this game was originally played on a ground famous for its bowling pitch. So this match was the famous United Arab Emirates team players for zero runs.

From my viewpoint, Scotland's improved performance is not surprising. They won the third T20 match against UAE convincingly, securing the series with a 2-1 lead. While Scotland may lack standout spinners and consistent spells that can cause a collapse, however their bowlers found success in today's decider match as UAE lost wickets rapidly.

Saim Ayub's performance in a few matches was excellent. He has seen a good impact in the end as well but the performance in the last match was not good due to which we saw them lose in the last match. If a team's opening batsman fails to perform, the team is under pressure from the start. If the opening partnership does well, the rest of the team can do well too. Even if they lost the last match, they will have a chance. Peshawar Zalmi still have that chance if they can capitalize on the last chance. If Peshawar Zalmi can give the best then they will be the title holders in the final. There is definitely no substitute for Saim Ayub's good performance for the team to win. Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators did not perform better than Peshawar Zalmi in the group stage. They are more likely to meet again with Multan Sultans.

In cricket we saw sometimes surprising things happen like when Scotland beat the United Arab Emirates. Both teams did not score much score which could be because of tough field conditions or pressure or you can say due to   good bowling. It is not just about one team being weak or the other being strong but a mix of reasons that decide result. By the way match was shorter and interesting. Means Scotland made 94 runs and UAE made only 62 runs. That was really surprising.

If Ireland's batsmen perform well in today's match then the match will be competitive, otherwise we will only see Afghanistan's dominance and Afghanistan will win. Afghanistan squad is more experienced than Ireland. However, Ireland's squad also has several hard-hitting batsmen.

Multan Sultan team have done their homework. They were exceptional with the execution and Rizwan's captaincy was spot on. Saim's wicket put pressure on Peshawar, but Babar and Haris did well in the powerplay. After Haris's wicket, Peshawar did not find a batters who could score quickly.
