The first T20 match of the New Zealand Women vs England Women series took place today. The tour will consist of 5 T20 matches and 3 ODI matches.

The performance of the New Zealand women's team has been very erratic. In the last two series against Pakistan Women's team and South Africa Women's team we also saw erratic performance of New Zealand Women's team. New Zealand's players did not perform well against the England women's team either.

England Women's team batted first and set a target of 161 runs. Captain Heather Knight played an excellent innings of 63 off 39 balls. Even though England Women were given a target of 161 runs, I thought the match would be competitive. But the match was completely one-sided. The batsmen of the New Zealand women's team have been batting very slowly since the beginning of the match. And in the end, New Zealand women's team collected 133 runs losing 5 wickets. The New Zealand team was defeated by 27 runs.

England is superior in quality and performance, and they have few quality players in T20i with things like these still we have good performance from the New Zealand they try their best for having better performance, but early damage give them setback, and then we have no recovery from them later middle order batting for the win Maia Bouchier and captain Heather Knight having aggressive batting which helps them for having huge target of 160 with New Zealand batting lineup having early loses and then no one able to stand and play positive role for the win in this first game of the series but now after watching this game we can expect some resistance from them in coming matches which is important for them.

Although the Afghanistan team was not very good in the beginning and their performance was a disappointment. But they showed a great performance in the third T20 match and it was enough for them to win the series. Although I think the most substantial improvement in the bowling line has been the fact that the Afghanistan team has easily handled Ireland and Ireland have lost. The duo bowled brilliantly as the duo managed to take a total of seven wickets which sealed the win for Afghanistan. However, Afghanistan team scored very well in today's match even though Ireland had a very tough going so far. However, despite trying hard, Ireland could not cope with Afghanistan but their game improved due to which Ireland put up a poor batting performance and lost the match.

In my opinion Ireland needs to hard work on his batting performance. Afghanistan brilliant performance in the third T20 game and they defeat Ireland by big margin of 57 runs. Afghanistan main strength their spin bowling attack but they also improved batting power Ibrahim Zadran played really well scoring 72 runs from 51 and Mohammad Ishaq. Ireland disappointing batting and bowling performance in the final game Gareth Delany took only one wicket.

England women ended up scoring 160 runs. The England Women's captain's excellent performance made the score big. England women captain Heather Knight batted very well she scored 63 runs off 39 balls with a strike rate of 160 plus. Anyway, New Zealand women came down to bat with the aim of winning and scored 133 runs by taking 5 wickets in 20 overs. New Zealand women had enough wickets but the batsmen could not bat with a high strike rate. New Zealand women's captain Suzie Bates batted a little better, she scored 65 off 51 balls, she should have done better. Maddy Green and Georgia Plimmer did not bat well, their strike rate was below 100. England women won the first match and lead by 1-0, England women will win the series if they win 2 matches out of 4 matches.

Today the England team was doing batting first and in the starting, their bowlers played very well and we thought that if New Zealand played like this then they would take the match but that performance was just for openers as Tammy Beaumont was out on 14 then Sophia Dunkley also out on not too much score but at the same time she played average because she was not stood on the batting crease for a long time

After these two batsmen Maia Bouchier and Heather Knight played a wonderful partnership but Heather Knight could not finish the innings and after her dismissal, Danielle Gibson played who played just 1 ball and also made a run but if they had more overs she would have played for long then there was a chance to play her good for the team. Anyway, it was England who won this match in the end and it was an easy victory as they won by 27 runs.

Afghanistan won by a decent run lead, all due to their strong bowling performance. Afghanistan bowling line up put Ireland  batsmen under pressure by putting them in different ways.  The spinners also performed particularly well and Afghanistan bowling attack maintained consistent line and length, giving them wickets and keeping Ireland  run rate in check And dismissed the Ireland team in 95 overs. Bowling side of Afghanistan especially Omarzai and Naveen-ul-Haq played very well and took 7 wickets by giving 19 runs in 6 overs . Afghanistan team played well both side batting and bowling but Ireland team side no one player played well in batting side.

Finally after a long time of trouble Afghanistan able to win an important match with a huge margin, to be honest due to previous bad performances I wasn't expecting them to show some of his decent performance but I think they learn from his mistakes and get the formula to tackle the trouble and pressure and that's why they get success. I think credit for that important victory through which they get a lead of 2-1 and won the series goes to thier bowlers because again the target wasn't enough to defend but thier classical bowler make things hard for his opponent through his magical deliveries and thus they got important wickets which cause collapse of Ireland batting line-up and as a result Afghanistan get back his form which will benifical for them in upcoming T20 World cup.

Heather Knight the English captain played a captain's innings with a quick 63 of just 39 balls. On the other hand, Suzie Bates the NZ captain did her part opening the innings and scoring 65 of 51 but nobody else contributed. I honestly don't recognise any other batters for team NZ, they have a few good bowlers but where are the Batters other than Suzie Bates? I know Maddie Green but I wouldn't call her a star.

IPL 2024 is going to start in a couple of days and I am excited as usual. MSD will probably play for the last time sadly while Kohli is under even more pressure after the women's team won a cup for Bangalore at last.

Am also excited to see Rinku Singh finish off games in style and Hardik taking over from Rohit as the captain of MI. Excited!

This cricket match has been organized again after a long year, this cricket match will start from March 22. There is so much craze for RCB-W winning the WPL trophy it ain't even funny, at times it feels like this is being blown out of proportion. Completion was okaish wasn't high tier as expected, also there were only 5 teams competing for title.
