It is up to people to do their own research and determine what is worth investing in.  People advertising new projects should not be insulted when there is not valid proof of a scam.  Too many people call things a scam simply because they lost money or sold coins early because the price went down and they got scared.

You have stop for promoting scam project not only for ICO but also bounty campaign, many ICO success with get soft and hard cap project but always delay for payment, next time never joining bounty campaign manage by the same bounty manager campaign.

Promoting an ico is a normal thing in bounty, and i believe that everyone really didn't want to promote scam ico, because if we promote scam ICO we cannot gain on it because scam ICO will disappear after they sold a huge amount of token or after they reach big amount of funds. The problem here is not all bounty hunters has a power to know if the project or ICO is scam and the problem is it is always exist and people always loss on it that is why we need to find a solution for us to know more about ICO and avoid our self from being victimized by scammer.

We cannot stop them in promoting since we do not have control on their decision but with proper discrimination of information
in a certain project's status, I think somehow we were able to help people not to consider investing in a certain project.

This cannot be completely stop as it's impossible, but at least we can minimize it.

For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

Most of the scam projects will only find it at the end of the situation so how can we find a split between the good and scam projects it could be impossible to find but if you have way for finding the scam project it may possible.

No, it's possible to identify from the beginning if you have little time to analyze. Check their project, team, whitepaper. It will be easy to find out.

That was my exact thought. We can't prevent because it is not possible to make everyone hear my words or someone else but if we start something, it will be decreased.

Helping by exposing concerned with certained project will give hunters /investors an  ideas to think twice regarding to a certain projects, we can't simply eliminate those scammers but by providing information will lessen possible victims, it can be done by every individuals around here who have good knowledge about any certain projects.

Sometimes people will leave you red trust without basis at all. Just sudden burst of emotion. Good thing that there's certain level of trust here in the forum, where you can identify if the red mark is valid or not.

Some time we can't predict about the project is going to scam or not .That kind of project only taking more money from investor . Like few year backs all lending platform turned to scam.

Already know that the project is a scam, then all hunter activities will automatically stop promotion and move other projects.
Maybe with your idea, it can protect participants and investors, but for the team, there are probably many who object, but all of them are their rights. We help as much as we can or invest with the capital they have.

Of course scam projects can be limited if not totally eradicating them. This can be achieved through effective regulations from the platforms where these projects are posted. There must be a team set aside to follow up on each project posted here and this team must make sure all information presented by the project is verified and authentic. With this, when the project turns out to be fake, the project team members can be tracked and apprehended.

We can follow that rule.But will the project managers who conduct ICO agree to such a step?In any case, you need to change the situation with the ICO and with the participants of the bounty.Disappointment must leave our heads.

Unfortunately, no project investor gives money before starting. Even if the money is given by eth, it would make a lot of sense, but it is not for the benefit of the project team.

Have Escrow and eth payments are the best recommendations to stop scamming bounty hunters they are not really serious in paying bounties after ICO they usually postponed it to 3-5 months when the price is very very low I also advised bounty hunters to please stop joining ICO bounties that are scam and not verified you can look at team members some are just downloaded from internet.

Nowadays many ico outsiders are also very difficult to choose which ico or bounty can be joined but not all the projects are legit unavoidable so be careful of your bounty so you do not waste your money or neglect Your investment is to first determine what you will earn so that in the end if you earn less then the important thing is legit and it does not hurt your interest.

You have brought up a very nice suggestion. If all bounty hunters on this platform could come together and enforce this idea, I think most of the scam and non-serious projects will not even bother launching them. Only the real and serious ones will launch their projects

If we only knew from the start that the campaign we joined with is scam right there and there we stop campaigning it, but we never know sometimes, because we thought is legit, and also because we know the campaign manager, and even though its legit if they do not reach the softcard they targeting with still we are the loser, because they cannot paid us.

I'm pretty agree with your suggestion, because I'm already applied that since I got scammed with much bounty (exactly on translation campaign).
now I just joined bounty with escrow. but to find project with escrow "bitcoin" is really hard. it's depend the negotiation between bounty manager and the project team.

What for do you need to promote scam? It is not a requirement and you can avoid this kind of activity. To my mind scam is something you should stop doing and don't even think to participate in scam for bounty!
