We can not stop promoting an SCAM project because we do not know the project is SCAM. Surely, if it is during the bounty campaign that the project is SCAM, all hunters enrolled in the campaign will stop their activities to promote the project. I prefer to find projects such as NOBT project, which make payment even during the bounty campaign. In ICO projects there is a risk of choosing a SCAM project. I think the administration of this forum should develop its detection tools for SCAM projects and remove them.

Let's think together what can be done in order to reduce the number of scam projects on the market? It seems to me that it is necessary to combine a very large experience of people who today understand where a scam is and where a normal project is.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
Your idea is not bad, because if the project owners know that their project is very good then first they should invest in their own project and then only other investors will invest in them. So this way the project will also gain the reputation and will get a good investors which will come forward and invest in their project. This way the ICO owners wont have option to scam and they will develop their project and get success so that their investment will get more returns. |

I think that the forum administration has a lot of tools to prevent the emergence and spread of scam projects. I am sure that the existence of such projects blackens the reputation of the forum and administrators should try to identify them.
Unfortunately, I have not seen such tools, and even more so their use. And the fact that the author of the topic offers only a partial solution. As I said for the emergence of the project, you need a body that will put forward certain requirements for it and a certain capital threshold for entering the market. |

Of course we can, but there is no guaranty that it will work 100%. The most we can do is to minimize that bad possibilities by carefully selecting the project that we wish to join. Just follow the trend of atlcoins to know which one is good to follow and which isn't. |

That is a hard for ICO.. The most of ICO is a start up company, so they have a lack of fund.. Back to yourself? What offers do you have? If you just have Free Blog, Facebook, Twitter do not hope too much.. Except, you have a big website who have high traffic visitor.. |

We everyone from the community will need to stand together against those scam. It is possible to restrict this. We just need to be aware and have a discussion. If we everyone decide to follow a single rule, I think we will be able to avoid scam ICO here. |

I should agree with you, if he was a big influencer in the crypto currency and i will believe what he was saying right now. Even the ico doesn't need his promotion. ICO has a purpose to get the funds to make the reliable developers to develop its product. |

Well, this is a very interesting ideas to reduce us and void promoting the scam ICO.
However, I'm not sure that all teams of the projects will deserve it because they may not have enough funds but they have great concept. Well, I myself also don't know how exactly we can minimize being scammed.

Some bounty campaigns have an escrow but not in BTC or USD. As much as I support the idea, would it not take so much for the start up project? With that approach, we may see less and less ICOs launching bounty campaigns. They might just opt for private funding and that means no bounty

A lot of solutions to this issue are offered by blockchain projects and smart contracts. But people are not in a hurry to introduce them and start using these services. I think that in the future bounty will change and we not let us to see its such what are accustomed. And now you just need to analyze the project well.

There is no way to solve it. Only a few of bounties would accept using escrow service, so I suggest that it is useless idea.
The only way is analysis, DYOR before participating in bounties

Scam project will alive no matter what happened. After being distribution some scam project could be found and without funds rise they could offers.
There are just people who loves to scam others. They want an easy money, dirty money! These kind of people does not care about anyone except themselves or/and the people close to them. Scamming is very easy for them as it became a habit or a job for them not knowing the struggle of those people whom they scammed. I see a lot of the scammers wallets at etherscan and people begging for money, to return it to them. These guys are so cruel and needs to taken action by crybercrimes police. |

Such a human nature, there will definitely be some villains who will be engaged in fraud, it’s already so much gnawing about this topic and it seems impossible to find a cure for this ailment. Even more annoying when scam projects require you to go through a kyc, you waste your time and energy. |

That is a good idea. How will they do this? All projects are established with the aim of mobilizing capital from investors. so they will start the project with enough money to maintain the planned activities before.

Your idea is solid but honestly, it will be impossible to achieve. Firstly, how many projects offer stable coins, Ethereum or Bitcoin as a form of payment to all bounty hunters? Very few! Also, do you really think all hunters will be on the same level with this idea? If the adoption of this your idea isn't unanimous, then it will be impossible to accomplish. Not everyone will be interested in adopting this idea even though it is for the benefit of all hunters.
