Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
Bounty hunters should unite if they want it this way, but unfortunately, not all bounty hunters will comply, there are some bounty hunters that are too greedy and will accept anything just to be part of the campaign, and no bounty campaign will pay USD and top tradeable coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, because they feel there is no need of that.

You can't ask somebody to stop promoting the project, It doesn't work like that. I thought IEO is the best way to stop scammer for now because a lot of scam project usually they give you token but never release on any exchange. but there is a project that doesn't even give you any token, but you can't really do anything about that.

I sometimes do some bounty. Now, the quality of the bounty is very high. The requirements of the project party and inspection of our authenticity are strict. At the same time, we also need to check the existence, authenticity and reliability of the project. This is where both sides need to check each other. If it is a fraudulent project, we should stop promoting the project.

I think IEO is an even bigger scam that the exchanges themselves are involved in it. but I could be wrong too. only time will show us what was the best way

we can't stop promoting fraud projects. The problem is that most projects now look real, especially for beginners like me, it's hard to find fraudulent projects, but I learned a lot from mistakes in following the previous prizes that we can at least prevent. by avoiding bad projects, the first thing is to examine the background of the team and the developers and the concepts they want to develop. but I prefer projects whose tokens are already listed on the exchange

good title, but it will hard to apply it, dev and team will consider it for do that, example dev want promote their project in forum and give 300k$ for reward.
that mean they must have 120k$ first before their do ICO/IEO, maybe for big project has a lot money for start it won't be problem.
but for project with small fund it will be big problem.

Its a nice idea but how are we going to approach it. I mean lets assume that a bounty hunter has dont alot of work promoting a project and don't get paid, now what ? what are his option ? I think the only thing that he can do is that he opens up a new thread and report that project but they would had already gone by that time.

your idea is pretty good but difficult to apply just look every day there is always the latest bounty that comes out and people always participate in the bounty,I think fraud will always come whenever we have to be aware and not support them Wink

If only there is a way of telling that a project is a scam before the bubble burst. Usually they come packaged as the greatest that will ever happen to the crypto-currencies environment but the moment investors drop their they would be no way to get found

If we knew the project is scam, we would not promote the project from the start.
The problem is we find that it is not easy to find out whether the project is scam or not in short time.
Need some time to conduct research about the company.

Good idea but how many can you talk to in other to do this as not every bounty hunters read this and some are just too desperate to have any thing coming to them and at last nothing seems coming , I had done so many bounty too and are just a waste of time which is a bad thing to have known with this crypto .

I think we should start having the reward separate from the token from beginning as the admin or developer also use the clause that they can change the rules anytime but it will never be in favour of the hunters but them as not bounty has ever do as they promised these days and it really hurt .

the main thing is how to know that the project is a scam.. project nowadays cannot easily recognized..project is legit but the team behind them are not
Agree with what you say, but to be able to know the project is a scam or not, which becomes difficult because we can not know from the beginning of the project. only after the completion of the sale does it begin to see that the project is a scam.
so many are deceived and it is not easy to be able to do so that from the beginning was known so that we can provide information.

We cannot prevent it instantly because human thinking is not all the same, as the emergence of the spread of new fraud projects the forum administration also has many tools to prevent it, if it is not resolved it can damage the reputation of the forum going forward

I would suggest creating a union of bounty hunters and with the help of which we would begin to promote the idea of participating in projects in which people pay for work in coins that are already traded on exchanges. This would immediately cut off all scammers, because it is not profitable for them to pay for advertising from their own pockets.

maybe you are right with your thought mate
anyway, as i knew few people have enough money to start their project, but a lot of project didn't have enough money in the beginning
so, they will pay their bounty participants with their own token or coin my friend

We can but it needs conscious effort because as I always say cryptocurrency is inevitable and unpredictable. You cannot dictate what happens. However, I think we can stop it. Its gradual.

There will still be those who will promote the project, hoping to get tokens that can then be sold at a good price. Therefore, no matter how perfect your idea sounds, unfortunately it can't be implemented.

Of course a good idea, but not feasible. It is clear that to start a business or to implement some idea-you need the initial capital. But no one will single it out just for one simple reason-and who exactly reserve these 40%? Bounty Manager? In General, in other words,it is very difficult to create a mechanism of which you speak.

Both of you have a point, I think the best solution for the ico scam is to,pay participant every week in usdt or bitcoin if their task is accomplished for every week task requirements, that's is for the participant.
But how we can resolve for the rewards of the investors in the ico project to avoid also a vitcim of scam that is a very different solution.

Though some scam are obvious, it's really difficult to distinguish most. And there's no common place to list and discuss about scams.
Many people even don't bother to do a little research about the project.
Many of the scam projects are much more appealing than the legit ones. And most of times people put their individual profit ahead of everything.

Fraudulent projects certainly provide interesting points on the project to get large funds. unfortunately we are difficult to distinguish, so many are stuck on projects that look promising. what we can do as bounty haunters can only be to try to analyze and run them, and in the end be resigned to what happens, whether scam or not
