Can we stop promoting scam project?

There would be always enough people that would see a bounty that promises to share 1 million USD in their tokens for participants and they would promote it without even checking the project. This is the biggest problem at the moment.

Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

I think this is a great idea. If the payments were in ETH and tokens, then it would restore confidence in the bounty companies and crypto projects. Moreover, project administrators themselves often complain that the bounty participants lower the price of their token, well, then pay ETH, and you can choose either ETH or tokens to choose from. I believe that sooner or later, crypto project administrators will have to do this, otherwise the community will rigidly conduct the selection of projects and, with the slightest inaccuracy, charges of fraud will be brought forward.

actually it can, if we promote projects that are not from bounty campaign activities, I mean we might be able to work on a number of projects such as being a community manager on a possible project or other position, because if we do that I think we can avoid promoting project scams only it is not easy because it requires a portfolio that must be initiated first, if we do the project from the bounty do not hope we can avoid this.

Almost impossible to see the scam-free crypto exchanges and the scammers will continue to take money from the other people's pockets. Before making an investment decision, having a proper research and decent analyze of the chosen projects will save the investors to be trapped in the scam projects.

Quality projects are very hard to find. Actually before, I joined one project paying their tokens as a bounty reward thinking that everything is legit and ran by a reputable manager here but turned out those tokens were crap. Even run by a known BM here does not guarantee that you are in the right track. But in case you found out that they have the tendency to scam people, I guess you need to stop promoting them. It is your own conscience that will bother you if you continue to do so.

In my own opinion, we can't stop promoting scam projects, unless people stop getting scammed because maybe scammers will be tired from continuing tricking other people to steal their funds. I also think that there are now few scam projects nowadays, unlike in the year of 2018 that there are really a lot of scam projects that makes most of the good projects became unsuccessful because a lot of investors and bounty hunters lost their interest in participating in projects.

and IEO in my opinion suppresses the number of scammers, because not just any project can join IEO.

these rules must indeed be done, to avoid scams on projects that happen so quickly. now we can see if a project that is indicated to be a failure will be abandoned by developers with no responsibility. does not that trigger losses for many parties including the bounty hounter. so I think right now there should be a rule that prevents scam projects

I totally agree with you, but the bounty project might be quiet and maybe all the projects will move to another place, when the project does not reach the target and it is a disadvantage of having the project

We cannot do anything about it. If the people are still promoting the scam project because they are earning through it then it is what it is. Just accept it and do your own thing. You can do your own thing but making a post or thread in social platforms to inform the other people about the scam project so even though they encounter the scam project, they will know what to do so they will not get scammed.

Scam project always running after pass third and sixth week we doing bounty campaign task, I know many bounty participants are disappointed but we have faced risk become bounty participants where some time can get profit and some time waste our live with scam bounty campaign, we have stop and looking other campaign look trusted and not scam for joining.

I don't think it's easy to prevent a project scam. The existence of an ICO project is to get funds or to attract investors to want to invest in the project and later the funds are used to develop the project, if the project can go according to plan and succeed then we will also get the results. So I think it all depends on the decisions we make based on the observations we make, don't rush in assessing a project, know more details about the project before making a decision.

actually, we can stop promoting project scams, it's just that the most difficult thing is knowing that it is a project scam. sometimes we don't realize that the team is a cheat or edit, or the concept they have is the result of copy-paste. it takes time to be known, and some people do promotions without doing any research about that.
In fact, when we have done research, sometimes a project scam becomes a scam after the sale is finished.

Even genuine projects suffer because of the bad reputation that scam projects bring and that discourages the investors to invest and general public to adopt cryptocurrencies massively. I admire your thoughts that how can we stop the promotion of scam projects and yes one more thing I would like to add is this that we just can't only hold bounty hunters responsible for the promotion of scam projects, we need to accept that there are loopholes in the cryptoeconomy system, lack of strict laws and regulations is the major reason scammers are successful, YES there should be a forum who educate the bounty hunters not to participate in such projects those are not genuine and YES the higher authorities especially the administration of this forum should take steps to prevent the scammers to launch their projects.

Exactly, now a day it is very easy to find the scam project, after finding we should not support the project by spreading the negative news about the project. Otherwise, many people like us will lose their money by these scam project, we should research a lot before promoting any projects otherwise we will finish up our work without any payments.
