Well indeed we need that scam somehow to be stopped on crypto world, and i think a step is for people who join and want to invest to do research and never invest on something where they can't do research or don't know if is ok to invest. And if will be possible i wish that scammers get arrested.

Such friends don't need to be dissuaded forever, if they keep running away, then they are losing totally because the greatest risk is not to take a risk at all.

They can do research on the project they want to invest on.

tell me one thing why these Scams are still going on? well, its because these are profitable to them. imagine running a signature camp and not actually paying anything. you will get users info, their documents(because of KYC) and their other useful recourses and time. people are actually working for free advertisement. if you hate this then get some skills and try a hard way like job4btc.

ROFL... do you really think that the SEC will be worried about bounty hunters not getting their rewards? That's not the case. Unless some Wall street whale losses at least a few million USD in one of those scam ICOs, the SEC is not going to do anything. And regarding the sig campaigns, they can always say that no monetary losses resulted from the scam.

That is why we need to research more about the project or groups so we can prevent from getting scam. The scammers will always try to steal people's money in many ways, and it is our job to be careful to decide. As long as we can be careful, I am sure that the scammers cannot get our money and they will hide for a while until they find a new way to scam people again.

I think there have been few that got arrested as well but it all depends on the country and the laws.

For example, if I am not wrong there was this cloud mining operation something like zenhash or something, I am not entirely sure about the name but they scammed their customers via cloud mining operation far exceeding what they had and built like a ponzi scheme on that and when they couldn't pay people and suddenly crashed all prices they were sued and authorities were given the information and they got literal jail sentence for it and in jail because of it.

Now that is not common but mt.gox was sued as well and I guess karpeles has some jail time too (not sure about this) but definitely got sued and went to court, so there are examples of trouble for scammers but that is not stopping them at all in third world countries for example.

Unfortunately, this is what the industry has become as a result of no genuine presence of regulations. Scams have taken over ranging from the floating/introduction of fake projects with dubious intentions down to porosity of project security leading to unscrupulous elements defrauding and hacking people's wealth and assets. This menace will keep going unabated until somehow there are introductions and guidelines to professional and acceptable practices in the industry.

this is the main problem in cryptocurrency many people have become victims but all victims have to give up all money to scammers. until now there is no way to get money stolen by scammers we can all just prevent it, so we don't become one of the victims of fraud

Yes, scammers are getting more creative. Many of them don't stint on the quality content of documents and presentable design of web sites. Since they already know that their costs will still pay off.

Scammers are a threat that we must avoid because it is very detrimental to all of us, it is difficult to catch Scammers because distance and information are lacking and this problem is handled by the authorities because we have no power here. Not until we start seeing crypto scammers get arrested for real many new investors won't join,I have friends that won't join crypto because of scammers running away with ICO funds forever ,no way to arrest them and get the funds out of them,the few news I read about getting some scammers is not enough ,the more there is an effective way the less scammers will harm crypto

Thats why ICO in this year is not too successful, because the past ICO is full of scammers.
IEO maybe the solution for investors who still afraid to invest their money in ICO.
But we need to use reliable exchange to join IEO, because it can be trusted.

It is so sad that many people are trying to earn in a legal way and then this scammers just do fraudulent things and make scam thingy and just get some other people's money for free. I think there is no law for scammers online, yet they are continuing what they do to make easy money from what they scammed. But i hope they would come such time that scammers can get rid off and be banned forever here.

Well. I don’t see this stopping soon as long as we are running on a blockchain technology, you know that the main purpose of a blockchain technology already for peer to peer interaction, and how it is able to fully create an anonymous identity for its usage, but since we user has personally found a way through it ourselves to make money, we just have to deal with it, because that was not the original purpose of it development.

It is left to us to use every means that is within our power to put an end to this ICO scam, which the only way we can do so is just to continue to deeply make a research on the projects first, if we make a research and we are sure of the project, then we can assist our friends by introducing such certified project to them, which would also encourage them to do so after seeing the positive effect.

It is actually a waste of time running after scammers because you may never get to them, I feel it is better to avoid these projects that appear to be a scam than try to fish out scammers.
