Once again their batting line up proving that 20-20 mind set is not good strategy for 50-50 world cup. it can work in 1-2 games but for longer run, its deadly choice. Windies need to changed their strategy for upcoming matches if they really want to secure their place in top 4 teams.

They can still reach 270+ score but for this they need to play decent cricket or at least stay on the crease. still 11-12 overs left in first inning.

Place in top 4? I never considered then in this WC to pass the group stage.

You guys might noticed that I was struggling to find the third team to identify for the race of the cup winner  (I know England can not lift it). I think It will be New Zealand.

Didn't we everybody had predicted our top 4 in another thread? I guess I picked India, Australia, NZ and England. I don't think WI will qualify for semi unless rain fucked u any other team.

Nah I think it was top three not four in the other thread created by Raza. Pakistan, WI has no chance whatsoever.

I believe the same but still 5 more game to go for them. so my options are open for 4th team (semis)

So here are my three team:
Australia
India
New Zealand.

For world cup winner, my list still same, not tweaking anything yet.

1. England
2. India
3. Australia

Because only these teams can play good cricket in all 100 overs (same match) on their good day. Other than those teams, no one comes close IMHO

Kiwis are playing good cricket, but I have my doubts in this regards, they have a habit of choking similar to South Africa when competing in big matches.

Kiwis will be eliminated in the semi. But by accident they may reach to final or I am expecting an Australia vs India final :-)

England always play good cricket but history is not with them. They will lose.

100% agree, but this team is very different in comparison to the old English squad. I would say arguably the dominant team in English history, But if England comes against India in semis or final then yes they will repeat the history . I am biased here for obvious reasons hehehe.

I do not blame you but you won't need to be biased too :-P

England will only see the face of final IF they find New Zealand in the Semi. I am having a fear that we may lose India or Australia before final if they both face in the Semi. I hope it does not happen.

I guess they will manage to get the runs before the 40th over as they are already at 61 for 0 in the 9th over.

Looking at the run chase I feel that whether they will get a trashing win or an easy win not comfortable one. In that case chances are, Vishnu.Reang or Harkorede may get 2 points :-P

Too early to decide if this will be a trashing or easy win. Losing one more wicket may turn it to Harkorede's favor meaning he will get 2 points. There are no way that us who picked comfortable will get two points today :-P

Choosing "comfortable Win" is a safe way to go as most matches result in comfortable zone. I mostly select "comfortable Win" in most of my betting. But if any needs two points they gotta take risk for "Easy / Narrow or Trashing Wins"

England lost another wicket which means we can safely say that this will be an easy win. Congrats to Harkorede for winning the two points :-)

My initial pick was easy but after the toss I thought WI will be able to score a decent amount of runs and to chase it, England will lose at least 5+ wickets. Seems like I was right before LOL

Just consider two things before including New Zealand and excluding England. New Zealand have not played any match with a big team and their yesterday match with India was abandoned so we are yet to see how NZ play against the stronger teams. Secondly , England has lost only 1 match and thier today's performace shows they are not an easy team to dealth with.

New Zealand will only reach final if in the semi the opponent have a bad day or they have very little chance to be in the final. I predict the final will be in between India and Australia.

I know England team is very strong but they breaks under pressure. History is the proof. That is why I do not consider them as the cup winner.

Anyway, the match ended. England won by 8 wickets. Congrats to Harkorede for having two points whether rest of us got one points each. I see no one picked WI so no losing points :-)

I also thinking that Australia and India will play this 2019 world cup final. And we will see a good fighting match between them if rain will not disturb like now  . And another two team will be in semi finals that are NZ and England IMO.

Looks like, I got the 2 points after all, It's unusual that I was the only who went for England to have an easy win. I expected England to be ruthless once again after thrashing victory against BD, but I just decided to stay with the "easy" win, It paid off.

Just got the prize for the 2nd round from Cloudbet. Put them all on a 3 fold LOL

If I win then I will be adding more 0.002BTC in the prize pool :-)

Damn it! I won the bet but did not realize the bonus terms. I have to playthrough 0.045BTC before cashing out whatever the amount it becomes from the bonus of 0.005BTC :-P

However since I have promised the 0.002BTC to the pool, I will need to keep my promise. I will send the amount on Monday. I hope it's okay for everyone.

One a side note, I placed another bet with all the BTC I had in the account. If I win this then my total playthrough will be 0.01431BTC (0.005+ 0.00931), if I understand it correctly. Way to go :-D
