Scrypt.cc website is down again. Trade was very active before it went off line. Bargain prices if they come back on line.
There was a 50 btc sell order at .00001649 that was getting quickly eaten up. Dropped to 40btc in about 12 hours before going off line.
Breakeven was 82 days, which is extremely low. A move to .0000241 takes breakeven to 120 days. A move to .000361 takes 180 days breakeven.
180 day breakeven is median average, so doubling or tripling price should happen if they come back on line.
If they survive any purchase should be extremely profitable. The risk is the are down for count with total loss.
But these guys have been very reliable even with primitive website and no support.
Last downtime in December the website was up but mining was down. This time website is down.
If mining is still up and if they are simply working on the website, there is an incredible opportunity here.
Prices should rise sharply if they come back on line and last selling completes.

That's mathematically true but it also depends on them sticking around for the next 3 months AND the income staying the same. As someone who invested 1.5 BTC with them nearly a year ago I'm a bit skeptical

If they survive they should be the premier cloud mining sight.
It should be a large money maker for them with very little maintenance required.
So it does not seem to be in their interest to shut it down.
They eliminated their chat which was a good thing as too much foolishness was being promoted.
When I tried to explain the reality that prices were destined to fall on chat, blind fools did not want to hear it.
The cite was hyped by ignorance for all the wrong reasons. Predictions that it was going back to original issue price of .00144
Again, while cloud mining has been very unprofitable, this cite has been extremely reliable and efficient.
I have been able to deposit and withdrawal regularly with no problem. I sold out last summer and manage to take only a small loss due to trading.
But I started to buy after it came back on line in December when break even went under 90 days.
The price has remains stable and the rewards great. The risk is they will fold.
All I am saying is that this is an incredible buying opportunity if they get through this down cycle. A minimum of 2-3X gain with potential of 5-10X gain.
I have been a buyer with the known caveat that they may disappear tomorrow. But the risk/reward makes it appealing.

I'm beginning to suspect that the real Suchmoon has been replaced by a Python script that runs at 10 AM plus a random factor of 0-120 minutes.
Very lifelike. You almost had me fooled ;-)

You're actually right, except it's a horrible spaghetti of bash code, greasemonkey scripts, and yes, some python too. The whole thing often fails to complete because one of the pool websites inevitably has an issue of some sort, or throws up a cloudflare captcha, or something like that, and requires manual intervention - thus 0-120 minutes.
