Ghash.io multipool is pretty bad so far. Mined for 12 hours on a ~1.15 MH/S rig and got 0.0017 BTC. There was something wrong with LOT, maybe that's why.
They are still in beta, yesterday there were some problems with NET mining with diff=0, also they are trying to mine LTC much of a time, and with such low ~1GH hashpower at multi they seems have not find any LTC block yet (or I didnt noticed).

Was surprised by cat&cactus story too)

12 hours is not enough to evaluate performance, especially on a pool that has barely cracked 1 GH/s. Just look at the charts in the OP, only the larger pools like CM or WP have more or less steady lines, others are jumping all over the place every day.

No major changes today.

Regarding some pools mentioned here recently: I have coinfu and trademybit (regular scrypt) on my list as well as nicehash. I just need to get some new hardware first, ETA 2-5 days.

how about hashco.ws ?

I've used them in the past and their stats were wildly inaccurate back then, specifically unexchanged/exchanged balances, which I need to calculate day-to-day differences. I might look into it again, but it's very low on my list.

if you can, please add one more pool to your list...

this one is a bit different from the rest, and i would describe it as a "high risk/high reward" type - https://www.ipominer.com/

i am not sure if they are somehow "related", but the site looks and acts identical to multipool.us...

thanks Smiley

ipominer does not convert the coins it mines so it would be difficult to give an accurate BTC/Mh reading I reckon. All will depend on when you sell your mined coins.

That discrepancy between vertcoin and trademybit (N) yesterday is quite weird tbh, surely these two should be quite correlated...

It has not been mining vertcoin much for whatever reason, so there isn't really a lot of correlation. Besides I'm exchanging VTC from vertco.in as soon as I earn them, whereas TradeMyBit might have a different trading strategy, so the results even on pure VTC might differ depending on which way the exchange rates move.

As dragonmike mentioned, ipominer does not exchange to BTC, which leads to a couple of issues:
1) I would have to spend a disproportionate amount of time on testing this pool - to exchange coins and estimate earnings.
2) The result would depend heavily on my trading abilities, which aren't very good I have to note.

Having said that, I would like to add a pool like that, perhaps with some sort of simplistic trading plan (all coins exchanged once or twice a day) and without estimating unexchanged balances.

I added "ideal" lines for Doge and LTC - same colors, thin lines - to show the theoretical profitability based on difficulty. These are not very accurate, especially for Doge where profitability can vary significantly throughout the day (I'm only taking one difficulty sample per day). But it should give you a rough idea of how effective the multipools are and how much luck I'm having (or not) mining single coins.

I'm seeing the following error for the 10 day average panel of the google doc:

All series on a given axis must be of the same data type

Maybe a recent change broke this chart?

Currently the LTC P2Pool is doing better than any of the current multipools.

I'm unclear as to how a Litecoin P2Pool can beat LTC profitability. Can someone explain that to me?

@Suchmoon: thank you. This post is so good.

Some help: ~0.0054 BTC/MHs/Day in nicehash scrypt pool in the last 24h. Not bad at all.

I've jumped to Nicehash.com in the process of setting up my leaserig and then I am just gonna keep that as a backup.

http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?rfid=2539 - Leash the Hash power you need to dominate coins.

Just good luck. It will come down eventually.

Sorry about that. Some kind of glitch at Google. The chart works ok in my editable spreadsheet (that's how I made the screenshot for the OP) but for some reason breaks when the spreadsheet is published. I'll try to fix it tomorrow.

No problem. I really appreciate what you're doing here.

Before I found your thread I was using poolpicker.eu. But I think that site relies on self-published stats from the pool owners.

In contrast, your thread shows actual returns for MH/s applied.

This is one of the most important threads on this forum. Keep up the good work!

Added NiceHash. Please note that it is a very new service and there might be some growing pains. It is incompatible with cgminer 3.7.2 and older. Reject rates are extremely high at the moment.

Did you configure a minimum price on nicehash? I'm going to try it with a 5.0 setting so I should get at least .005/MH/day
