Sorry again for the delays, charts have been updated and tomorrow I should be back closer to the regular 4PM UTC update time.

Edit: double-digit LTC difficulty jump coming up tomorrow... might want to check your mining math if you're on GPUs Smiley

Dude major props, I cant believe your still committed to this. Im hoping your making BTC donations to keep you motivated. Im sending a little your way at the end of the month, even though i dont really use it, your commitment impresses me.

and there are sentences for dying GPU))) Now the summer, temperatures ultraboundary, cards are heated - probably till fall it is necessary to disconnect, and there can that else the interesting will appear.

add trademybit.com please

TradeMyBit is on the charts, all three pools - Scrypt, Scrypt-N, and X11.

Charts have been updated for today. I have adjusted the Y axis a little bit since we don't have anything above 0.005 at the moment.

Nice work, and guys, do remember if you are using X11, your power bill is half, so profits are a lot more than the graph leads you to believe. Not to mention the summer savings on AC.

I believe the yields are after expenses so I don't think your point is valid.   Still there could be a lot of variation between different setups, locale, etc.

This is income only, expenses are NOT subtracted. I would recommend to anyone, especially those with GPUs, to calculate their costs (expenses) per MH/s and match that against the charts. For example, with my power cost of 0.13 USD per kWh and ~190W per R9 280X mining X11, I would get this:

190*24 = 4.5 kWh per day

4.5 * 0.13 / 580 (current BTC exchange rate) = 0.001 BTC per day - that's how much it costs me to run one 280X

Scrypt-equivalent hashrate is 0.75 MH/s, so the expense per MH/s for me is 0.001 / 0.75 = 0.0013 BTC

This means that if the X11 lines on the chart stay above 0.0013 BTC I will make money.

Power consumption in Scrypt mode including extra cooling is nearly double, so I need to make at least 0.0025 BTC per Scrypt MH/s to break even. As you can see most multipools struggle to do that these days, which means that with my power cost using an R9 280X to mine Scrypt is not profitable.

I am working on making this whole calculation more accessible, just waiting for some Zeus hardware to arrive so that I could move my GPUs around and free up some space.

Edit: fixed some typos and misused words.

..... and ~190W per R9 280X mining X11

(After some flood event) I have two PCs each with 3 pieces of R9 280X (Gigabyte) taking 950 W as a whole while doing X11.
If calculating 50W for each PC parts (Mobo, CPU, ...) I arrive to 141 W of power per card.
Did you measure your cards to be 190W?
Or I have some bad config file here and not taking full advantage of the cards. I am hashing 2.1 X11 Mhs on each card. Are you doing maybe better?

My number includes all the "collateral" power usage and it is somewhat overstated / rounded up. I don't think you can exclude motherboard/CPU/cooling/etc from your expenses?

So here is what I'm getting: a four card rig pulls ~3 amps at 240V, approximately 720W. A box fan pulls another ~40W. Total 760W or 190W per card.

It's probably overstated by about 10W since my PDU shows between 2.8 and 3.0 amps and I'm just taking the higher value to be safe.

Hashrate is approximately 2.09 MH/ per card. There is a new version of sgminer floating around that is supposed to do much better, I'll try that next week.

Can some one explain why ScryptGuild gives less than waffle or clever mining, even though it mines many coins at same time & converts its to btc?

Oh, yes, PC parts and cooling are included of course, I somewhat misunderstood your original line regarding 190 W.
I am at 160 W/card if calculated everything into it but I do not have a fan. (But the worst rain of the year does do damage...)

It probably mines different coins than waffle or clever and is not as sucessful in picking and/or exchanging them. That is essentially the reason for this thread - to compare how well different pools/services perform.
