But still need to see any review before ordering...
Its coming, be patient Got a 24MP camera and lighting for some better photos, more power test equipment, heat gun and fan tachometer. I really want an IR camera but will have to save up the pennies for that. Yayyyy, so I asume you in 1st batch and got PSU 1200++ for overclocking (and some undervolt maybe) Cant wait !!! I'm not sure where I placed, could be end of B1 or start of B2. 1500W PSU ready to check the headroom and overclocking out. Will do soft underclocking, won't touch voltages until we know more. Depend how much you pay right ? B1 = 3899 USD and B2 = 3599 USD...

Its coming, be patient Nice ! Looking forward to some trusted reviews. Would rather purchase a Bitmain S2 than take a chance on the bootleg A1 rigs.

Come on now BITMAIN. Give us something to bide our time with. No spec updates beyond the clarification on the second day and then you only post several days after to address payment issues.
Any pictures of the actual product? Fan count? Same fan as S1s? Average load temperatures with local ambient temperature for reference? Free t-shirts with each S2 purchase?
How about just a quick mention that you are still on target for shipping out after the weekend?
A little bit goes a long way here.

I was thinking 1500W PSU also. If Bitmain is using the same chip and their claim of 1000W at the wall is correct, this machine may have some room to run. I don't suggest leaving the cover on though.

Sudden weirdness at BITMAIN, it seems. I just ordered another S1 and paid within a few minutes (ho hum) but the site says the order is "Unpaid" and "Expired". I checked the addy and amount, of course, and I have lots of confirmations. Anyone else getting unusual behaviour from BITMAIN lately? I know this is the S2 thread - just getting twitchy and wondering if the sky is falling (BFL first-month pre-order wounds reopened). Edit: I just took a closer look at the S1 thread and several people are mentioning the same issue (orders showing up as "Unpaid" and "Expired"). I had missed that the first time through - there's a big flame war going on there of late which tends to mask other info. I'm still wondering if all is well at BITMAIN though. Edit: The problem for my order just cleaned itself up at the BITMAIN site. No more "Expired" and it now shows as "Paid". Much ado about nothing, I guess. Sorry for the hassle.

If you take a look through the various Bitmain threads you'll quickly see that this is par for the course. Send them a PM with the order and transaction ID if you wish, but you're most likely just fine.

Thanks for the reassurance, guys. You're probably right. I'll watch and wait.
Good luck with your S2s - I'm saving up my Satoshis so I can join you eventually.

Is Bitman on track to deliver S2's before the 1st ? Additionally I paid for my order , but it has not been updated and Bitman has provided no response so far…not really feeling the "exceptional customer service" that have been mentioned by others in the past.
Additionally I hope the S2's are not defective since it was really expensive to ship back S1 to get replaced. The process has not been pleasant so far, hopefully Bitman provides some kind of response soon
How much longer should I wait for confirmation/response from Bitman before getting really concerned.

Anyone also have the same thoughts that the first 2 batches are build with 55nm chips they still have in stock, and the later batches are build with smaller nm technology?

I read somewhere that Bitmain also provide 28nm miners on April but I hope after 15-April for clearer estimation. BTW, the calculating model of Bitmain for S2 Batch 1 & 2 is strict imo; S1 model is nice: both win-win for us and Bitmaintech.

Would you prefer news which might later change because they don't quite know for sure yet, or wait for real news?

Has BitMain ever mentioned that they were moving directly to 28nm? It seems that some Chinese manufacturers are working wonders with 40nm. Why wouldn't BitMain just move to that process node first before the cost-prohibitive 28nm node? If anything, BitMain is the low-cost leader, not the cutting-edge tech leader.
