I personally don't think the country coins are going to pan out long term, but many of them have done very well on a short term basis. GER is up to 20k satoshis at multiple btc volumes now on Bittrex - it was at 18k satoshis yesterday at less volume.

ive been mining this port for about an hour and the site is still showing a 0 balance for unconfirmed and confirmed? but it shows my worker mining ECC and the correct hashrate.

I only see one person currently mining ECC on the direct port right now. You only get unconfirmed/confirmed coins when blocks are found, which happens rarely if you're essentially solo mining at a low hashrate on a moderate difficulty coin.

Is something going on with Blitzcoin? IPOminer shows it's paid out twice for me, but my wallet has 0 balance. Already tried re-downloading the block chain with no luck.

Anyone else having issues?

Edit- False alarm. Had to download the blockchain again after adding the BlitzCoin.conf posted in it's thread.

Hate to say it, but the first priority should be to at least list prices on the site, this is like flying blind. I have to check three or four different exchanges and have no clue when to sell besides. Meh.

@stumblios Do you see a transaction id for it on the withdrawals section of your Account page? Once you get a transaction id, that means it has hit the wallet. Transactions can get stuck at that point if they don't get confirmed by the network, but that is rare, and I don't see any transactions in the BlitzCoin wallet with zero confirmations at the moment.

@nightengale That wasn't a "this might be a good time to sell" comment - it was a "things are looking good for a continued rise" comment (Sorry for the apparent lack of clarity there.) But, if you are inclined to sell, GER has been averaging around 0.00475-0.005 btc/mh/day of profits at current levels, which is as good or better than other multipools. So, it doesn't hurt you to sell at current prices, beyond limiting your potential profit.

BlitzCoin has been showing great mining profitability for us -- between 0.006-.0085 btc/mh/day at current prices, from the BLTZ we mined yesterday through today (the range comes from the difficulty change from when we started until now.. ~100-140.)

@benedictlol I don't have a firm ETA on getting price data onto the site, but we are working on it. Should have a few exchanges ready tonight.

@lajz99 Do you mean when we switch the coin that is being mined, or when we add a new coin to the site?

@meg5000 Coins are generally chosen for their short to medium term profitability (<10 days). Predicting coin success/profits is more difficult over longer periods. I also am a firm believer in separating mining from trading. If you think a coin will rise in value over a medium to long term, invest in it - mine whatever will be profitable in the short to medium term.
