Any opinions on Blitz -- is it going swirly down the toilet or is there still potential for it to rise?

As the intention was to gather data, I doubt it'll go up. Slowly swirling down the toilet it seems.

RE: BLTZ.. I'm working with their community leader, slavo, to find a new developer to take over the coin and change it to PoS. I'm personally holding a large position in it and am very motivated to see it succeed.

We added GuldenCoin (NLG) to the multiport today. It is being traded on Bittrex, and their announcement thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554412.0

We also just created email notifications for when new coins are added so you'll know without having to watch this thread or the News section.

For anyone wondering why the value of WATER has gone down the plughole, seems a simple code error in the daemon has roughly multiplied the block reward by 1,000 rather than reducing it after block 7,000 (the maths is slightly more complicated but you get the idea)

I was only holding a small amount in the hope of appreciation, but looks like they're nearly worthless now.

EDIT - the devteam has advised to stop mining whilst they work on it, another reminder for me why the ipoMiner 3% fee is worth it to not have to follow all these coins. Just need that "ipoFundManager" to provide managed trading for a fee now Smiley

Thanks for posting about WATER, RentaMouse. I was just about to relay the same information, but I've been busy looking into their code to see what was going on with it.

I'm halfway tempted to personally mine it at the increased block reward, but the situation is too volatile to recommend doing that. If anyone wants to give it a try though, let me know and I can add a direct port for you.

EDIT: They seem to be considering letting the inflated block rewards stand and patching the wallet to fix the issue at a future block (block 7200 is being discussed). I'm going to mine it overnight myself -- feel free to join me on port 3426, as long as you recognize the risk that they could create a patch that would instead remove those blocks from the blockchain.

We just found a block of WATER, and the block reward was 438399 coins.. compared to 1000 coins, prior to block 7000. This is going to be interesting...

Just switch the pool over, we're all here to take a little bit of risks and make some coin, right?

IMO the pool needs to take a little more risks and be a little more aggressive.

@lajz99 Its a great call to make if it turns out to be right, but a terrible one if it turns out to be wrong and they fork back to block 7000 with the wallet patch. Smiley

If the blocks stand, even at 1 satoshi they are around 0.009 btc/mh/day to mine at the current ~9.25 difficulty.
