Let's do this, for sure we can do a lot, not only discuss GOLD token here but spread the word further.

Many of my friends that invest in crypto look for some ways to diversify their portfolio and add commodities

Still not many people know about gold pegged stablecoins don't mention GOLD token in particular

This is the best opportunity to introduce them to GOLD token and I always do my best to explain what it is and how it works.

Let's do our best.
Even though today is my last day working with GOLD and working with GOLD for about 40 months.
it's a great experience.

But let's do it, if you have any idea or some other way to introduce GOLD TOKEN.

How do you feel where the price of gold goes in 2023?

The current price of GOLD has experienced a significant increase.
and coincidentally a few hours ago I also tried to sell my son's jewelry or earrings that I bought about 4 years ago, and got a profit from the initial price I bought.
the initial price of buying earring jewelry is Rp. 180,000 and when it is sold today it is Rp. 210,000
(didn't have time to take a photo of the proof of purchase invoice)

The price of physical gold goes up and of course, the price of Digital gold goes up.

Yes I am bullish and think that there is big chance we will reach ATH until March 2023 for gold price.

Gold is going up from so many years, there are corrections, some black swan events that impact the price of course, but despite everything GOLD keeps going up, long term trend is bullish - trend is your friend, I don't argue with that   .

Same we think. In world crises, gold has always been the most stable instrument for saving capital. Already now we can see how liquidity is gradually flowing into gold. Very soon we may see the level of $2,000 per ounce.

Patterns are good, but it often happens that serious macroeconomic data breaks them down. The world economy is in trouble and confusion right now.

Yes I will have to agree with you on this, still triple top is pretty strong signal for reversal.

this is where GOLD was always the number one investment, and still is, despite patterns, reversals, corrections, long term trend on GOLD is bullish, price keeps going up

I myself and many other people I talked with lately that look to run away from inflation and want to diversify crypto portfolio, majority think about GOLD and other commodities, still gold is the number 1 here no doubts about this.

Tokens that are "backed by gold" have been around as long as I've been in crypto (more than a decade) and each and every one of them always end up being scams that get rug pulled.  Not saying that's what is happening here, I mean the thread is several years old...  However, I can't understand the benefit of holding a token like this.  It isn't hard to buy real gold to hold, or to invest in an ETF with audits and regulations.  Investing in something like this seems to be financial suicide.  Granted, I could be wrong, but I honestly can't think of any benefits that could come close to the risks of something like this.

GOLD is more stable and reliable than other cryptocurrencies, store of value, and is simply much easier to buy, store, sell, exchange as real gold.

...It isn't hard to buy real gold to hold...

I agree that it is relatively easy to buy very small quantities of gold even online, when it comes to amounts a bit larger, like few thousands USD not possible without revealing at least some of identity.

and was wondering what steps to do if old coins from the old contract address ( 0x851e13b3cdcaec6fb3ae446dad82e112abaa827c) was not "restored" as the message says balances before the hack will be restored?? what steps can one take?

I have same problem and few hundred usd in GOLD token stuck on exchange, can't do nothing about this

Dear Woodie,

All tokens that were compromised at the time of the attack were restored to users. If you do not have GOLD tokens on your new contract, you most likely bought them somewhere at a discount or received them after the new contract was up and running.

A lot of things depends of FED decisions. If the USD will go stronger the gold can go down a little. Then it should go to 2000

I think USD is already quite strong looking at the USDT / EUR price?

To be honest I thought it will drop a bit in near future and USDT will loose some strength but I am not an expert in this field and this is why it is great to discuss this topic with somebody more knowledgeable.

I try to DCA so only question for me in both scenarios will be when to add more GOLD token to not miss opportunity if it spikes or to add for cheap if gold price will go down as predicted.
